Snowflake Kisses and Good Glidings - Your Next Stamp

I thought I was finished making my Christmas tags for 2022 but then a couple of the cutest stamp sets arrived from Your Next Stamp and I couldn't resist making more because these little guys are just perfect!  I am behind with posting but we were so busy over the holidays that I just didn't manage to get it together to get them posted.  It seems like the intentions are always good and I think I will have time but that last week before Christmas catches me every year.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you the very best for 2023!

Home-Stretch Doggo - Your Next Stamp

Another card I've made using the Home-Stretch clear stamp from Your Next Stamp.  This is a cute and fun stamp set and I like how the images stretch across the card space so you don't need to add a lot for embellishments.  I shaded behind the pup with Tumbled Glass distress ink, a strip of patterned paper, a piece of twine, a few enamel dots and done!

Home-Stretch Giraffe - Your Next Stamp

Here's another birthday card I've made using the Home-Stretch clear stamp from Your Next Stamp.  This is a cute and fun stamp set and I don't know why it's been sitting in my basket for so long!

This was a simple card to make, some background papers from Graphic 45 and I used the Your Next Stamp Rectangle Scallop Frame.

Home Stretch - Your Next Stamp

I've been busy making some birthday cards for children and the Home-Stretch clear stamp from Your Next Stamp set is perfect.  It's got great matching sentiments too so there's no hunting through stamps to find something suitable and they work up quickly.

This was a simple card to make, some background papers from Honeybee and a few enamel dots and done! Sorry, I forgot to write down the Copic colours for this one.

Cool Cactus - Your Next Stamp

It's Day 4 and the last day of my guest design spot with Your Next Stamp and what a fun journey that's been.  Great stamps and dies and excellent quality of everything.

Today I've made a couple different cards with the Cool Cactus set.  This is my new favourite stamp set, so cute and fun!

For the green cactus card, I used the Cool Cactus Stamp Set and the pretty Rectangle Scallop Frame Die.

Copics:
Cactus - YG67/17/13/11, YG 99/95/91

I've used the same stamp set for the pink card.

This was a lot of fun with non-traditional colours, Stickles and Glossy Accents.

Krash the Horse - Your Next Stamp

Welcome to Day 3 of my guest design spot at Your Next Stamp and today's shaker card uses the fun Krash the Horse stamp set and Window Pane Panel Die

The window die is perfect for the stamp set, everything fits so well inside the windows.  I have such a hard time getting getting rid of the glare to get a good photo of shaker cards so maybe I will have to invest in one of the mini photo booths.

Photo Booth - Your Next Stamp

Hi there!  Today is day 2 of my Guest Design spot at Your Next Stamp and today I'm using the cute Photo Booth stamp and Photo Booth Polaroid die.  There are two variations of the die and several different Photo Booth stamps that will work with them.

Many of us will remember sitting in the photo booth, closing the curtain, a few giggles and snapping silly pics with our best friend us.  Fun times!

Clucking Cool - Your Next Stamp

Hi there!  It's almost the end of March, I can smell spring and am so looking forward to it arriving!

I am thrilled to be guest designing for Your Next Stamp so I'll be back with some inspiration using their stamps and dies for the next four days.

Today's card uses the Clucking Cool stamp set and the first thing I though of when I saw the image was being chased by that rotten old rooster we had on the farm when I was a kid.  He chased every single one of us kids and we were petrified of him.  This guy doesn't seem to be nearly as threatening though but you haven't lived unless you've been put on the run by a rooster!

Birthday Ghosts

Hi there and I hope all is well with you.

Gerda Steiner's Ghosts stamp set is cute, funny and perfect for my grandson's birthday.  He just turned 10 and the Riley & Company Funny Bones Ghosts of Things We Ate is a great match and gives validation for all the noises little boys make!  I know he will think it's hilarious.

I sponged some black soot distress ink, spattered with black paint and cut the center with Honey Bee Stamps Happy Christmas die.  The outer scallop is Your Next Stamp's Stitched Scallop Rectangles.  After stamping, cutting out and colouring the ghosts, I spritzed them with some Shimmer Spray for a bit of sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and have the best week ever!

Christmas Post - All Dressed Up Stamps Challenge

Hi there!  I don't know about you but I have Christmas card fatigue!  Whew... it's time to move on.  I've got one more after this and then I am done holiday cards for 2021.

It's time for a new challenge at All Dressed Up stamps and I've used the Christmas Post digi image.  I had not intended to add snowflakes to this card but just as I finished colouring, I saw two dark blue smudges on the left side and I knew enamel dots were not the fix this time so  that's when the snowflakes made an appearance. I've been having trouble with some of my Copics lately and maybe it's time to replace nibs... the only place that smudge could have come from is when I coloured the bow and scarf but Copics don't usually splotch like that.  Annoying but at least it was fixable.

Be sure to head on over to the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog where you can see all kinds of inspiration from the rest of the girls on the team. Oddball Reindeer - Stamping Bella

Hi there and I hope you are fine.  It's cold here and we have a bit of snow...  of course, when I say cold, it's not terribly cold.  If this was the first day in spring with this temperature we'd probably all be outside without a jacket and talking about what a lovely day it is!

Like almost everyone else, I'm getting pressed for time with getting my Christmas cards finished and the push is on!  These three cards were made with the Oddball Reindeer from Stamping Bella.  I've said it before but these Oddball images ae just the best and some of my favourite stamps!

This is a great stamp set because you get all three images plus the sentiment.

I have to remember to make these images into Christmas tags for next year... they would be such fun on a package!

Thanks for stopping by!

Highland Cow - Hetty Clare

I purchased some digital images from Hetty Clare's shop on Etsy and they are such fun.  This Highland Cow is The Buttercup and I paired it with a  great sentiment from Riley and Company called Milk Dud.  It's a birthday card for one of the grands and she'll get a huge kick out of it because it suits her sense of humour perfectly.

Big Thanks - Concord & 9th

Hi there!
Today's card is a little different for me, there's not a Copic colour in site and that is rare because I do like to colour. I saw this huge Big Thanks die from Concord & 9th and thought it would be perfect because we all need some thank you cards at some point and this one is a beaut! I used the Your Next Stamps Stitched Scallop Rectangles as a base but the white paper seemed a little stark so I sponged in some gray distress ink to take away a bit of brightness. Sparkly silver paper and black were cut with the die and offset and the card is done! Quick, easy and it's great to have some thank you cards on hand.

Mom's Hibiscus - Three Room Studio Challenge

Hi there and I hope all is well with you and yours.
Today's card is for our latest challenge at Three Room Studio and this week's theme is 'Miss You' and the challenge host is Pocono Pam.
I kept my card fairly simple and lighty sponged in a background of Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass distress ink.  The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments set and the flower which is one of my favourites is from the Mom's Hibiscus set.  This set has the coordinating die which I used to cut around the image.
The challenges are now hosted on the Three Room Studio blog and although there are rules, they are simple and easy to follow so I encourage you to join in.
Be sure to check out the Three Room Studio shop to have a look at the stamp sets, to the Three Room Studio blog, the design team blogs and Instagram.

New Home

Hello and I hope all is well with you.  It's good here but definitely fall weather with it being a little cooler and the leaves on the trees are quickly changing colour.
Today's card was made for someone who has purchased a new home so I sent this along with the housewarming gift I had made.  The cute little mushroom house is a digi from Pink Petticoat but they no longer sell under that name.  She now makes her images available under The Lovely Studio.   I have so many of her images and am very glad I got them when I did because she doesn't have them all listed in the new shop.
Thanks for stopping by, take care and have a great week!
