Oddball Reindeer - Stamping Bella

Hi there and I hope you are fine.  It's cold here and we have a bit of snow...  of course, when I say cold, it's not terribly cold.  If this was the first day in spring with this temperature we'd probably all be outside without a jacket and talking about what a lovely day it is!

Like almost everyone else, I'm getting pressed for time with getting my Christmas cards finished and the push is on!  These three cards were made with the Oddball Reindeer from Stamping Bella.  I've said it before but these Oddball images ae just the best and some of my favourite stamps!

This is a great stamp set because you get all three images plus the sentiment.

I have to remember to make these images into Christmas tags for next year... they would be such fun on a package!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oddball Marilyn - Stamping Bella

I can never get enough of the Stamping Bellas and this one just cracks me up too... love those eyes and I also think it's a terrific sentiment.  This one is Oddball Marilyn and the card is going to my daughter for her birthday because she's a very glitzy, sparkly glamour queen herself.

I wanted to try something different for the background but was a little timid because I didn't want to wreck the card with it being coloured and almost finished but the next one will have more purple in it.  After I had finished colouring the image, I masked it and scrubbed Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves  and Faded Jeans distress ink.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Oddball Boy - Stampingbella

The Stampingbella Oddball stamps are among my favourites.  It's our grandson's birthday soon and he's at the age where the card can't be too cutesy or childish but he's not old enough to get a guy card with an image of beer on it!  This stamp is just about right and in fact, Chase wears his hair in a style similar to this.

I 'smooshed' Picket Fence distress ink, smooshed again with Black Soot and finally spattered with the Black Soot and an old toothbrush.  I'm happy with the way the card turned out and I'm sure he will be too with the money that will be included inside!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Oddball Snow Queen - Stampingbella

Another card for the Oddball themed set I'm doing and this is Oddball Snow Queen from Stampingbella and what a frosty diva she is!  I've said it before and I'll say it again... I love the Oddballs!  I used my Memory Box Double Stitch Scalloped Rectangle Frames for around the image.  This is such a pretty die that I wish it were available in a square shape too.

Thanks for stopping by and take care!

Oddball Cinderella - Stampingbella

I've been working on some cards to give to someone special who loves the Stampingbella Oddballs as much as I do so I try to get a few done for her every year.

This is Oddball Cinderella and she makes me smile everytime I look at her... those eyes and the look on her face!  I used Gina Marie's Stitched Rectangle die for the front and this is one of my favourite dies because it is the perfect size to completely cover the front of an A2 card.

Thanks for stopping in!

Oddball Queen of Hearts - Stampingbella

These Oddball images always crack me up and I love every one of them!  This is Queen of Hearts and she's a fabulous diva.  There's a lot of colouring on this one which surprised me but worth every minute of time.  I couldn't decide on how to place the sentiment, whether it should be in a flag, a tag or nothing and I decided that with the detail on the image, I would not add anything else.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Way You Move - Stampingbella

I've been going through my card box and have found some cards which I have never posted and this is one of them.  hahahha... it's so old the stamp is no longer made.  It's a Diane Duda stamp which was made by Stampingbella and called The Way You Move.  I like the whimsical and primitive nature of these stamps so it's something different from me.  I had pieced the dress and buds from the stamped flowers from a piece of My Mind's Eye Sunshine paper and then added some flowers cut from CC Designs 5 point flower die.

Tags - Stampingbella

Hope you are well and almost or are ready for Christmas.  Fingers crossed, I think I am nearly there.
Today's post is a couple more tags I made with my newest Stampingbella images and I've used  The Walrus the Polar Bear and the Penguin for the round one and  Rita and the Reindeer for the other.
The tags are fairly large as far as tags go, especially the rectangle one which is 5 1/8" x 3".  That's for a BIG present!
I found a couple new products and quite like them.  The first is Ranger's Snowflake Tinsel and I love it... it's got flecks of off white powder and then wee circles of glitter.  I have to do some reading on this because I had trouble getting the glitter to stay on so there must be a trick to it.  I thought heating it from the bottom would do the trick but no.  The other is Wow's Diamond White Embossing Glitter and it is so pretty... little bits of silver powder.  I actually added little pinches of that to the round tag after most of the Snowflake Tinsel fell off.  Maybe you just need to have a lot of the powder on so the tinsel has something to grab.
That's it for me today but have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for stopping in!

Squidgy Tags - Stampingbella

I have been busy making tags but these are not for Christmas but I thought maybe a birthday or any gift.  I always get a charge out of these funny Squidgy Kids from Stampingbella and we all know a wee one who has these little tantrums or shall we say, moments when they 'asserts themselves'.  Most of them do it or try to... they have to test the waters, so to speak.
For this little box, I used the instructions and pattern from Sandie's Tag Box tutorial on Stampingbella.  I made a couple of small changes but it's a great tutorial and she even has the file for Silhouette users.
I made six tags and used the small image from Screamy Suidgy, Grumpy Squidgy, and The Squidgy Who Couldn't.  I used bits of sentiments from those sets plus the 'I Simply Cannot' is from The Chicks Who Couldn't Even.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good week.

Petunia Gets a Piggyback - Stampingbella

Today's card uses a Stampingbella image called Petunia Gets a Piggy Back.  I've had this stamp for ages and I love the whimsical nature of it.  Bellarific Friday has a colour inspiration for their challenge this week so thought I'd give it a go.

I usually have difficulties with colour themes and did with this one too but I am happy with the end result.  These themes do get me out of my comfort zone which is good but I wobble back and forth so much when choosing paper and colours that I usually spend an unreasonable amount of time doing it.  After I finished colouring the image, I sponged in Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink and a cardstock cloud template which I found on the internet a long time ago.
I am actually doing a fairly decent job of wading through my stockpile of Bellas.  I have so many and decided I would try to do one per week so they could all see some ink.  (new ones should be coming out soon now!).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
