And more tags!  I love how these turned out - they were a lot of work and detail but I am very happy with them.  

I used the Sunny Studio Scalloped Square Tags die again, smooshed some Smoked Hickory distressed ink on it and then spattered black paint.

All colours were distress ink and once dry, I smooshed a darker colour on them and finally added some sparkle snow medium.  The sentiment on the tags are computer generated using the Mom's Typewriter font.

Christmas Angel - Gummiapan

 

I've managed to get a decent start on my Christmas cards and this one is very quick.  I rubbed in some Kitsch Flamingo distress ink and then flicked on some black paint speckles.  The dies are Poppy Stamps Merry Christmas and Gummiapan's Doodled Wire Angel.

Lazy Daisy - LiIi of the Valley Stamps

Hi there and here we are in March already so spring cannot be far behind and I'll be happy to have warmer temps and no snow!

I've had this LOTV image coloured up for ages, just sitting in my card box but not mounted on a card until now.  I just love this pony and he reminds me of a Shetland we used to have when I was a kid.

The image is Lili of  Valley's Lazy Daisy and coloured with Copic markers but I don't have a list of colours I used.

The frame is one of my favourite dies and it's the Memory Box Double Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames.

Oddball Reindeer - Stamping Bella

Hi there and I hope you are fine.  It's cold here and we have a bit of snow...  of course, when I say cold, it's not terribly cold.  If this was the first day in spring with this temperature we'd probably all be outside without a jacket and talking about what a lovely day it is!

Like almost everyone else, I'm getting pressed for time with getting my Christmas cards finished and the push is on!  These three cards were made with the Oddball Reindeer from Stamping Bella.  I've said it before but these Oddball images ae just the best and some of my favourite stamps!

This is a great stamp set because you get all three images plus the sentiment.  

I have to remember to make these images into Christmas tags for next year... they would be such fun on a package!

Meowy Christmas - All Dressed Up Stamps

 Honestly, I don't know where this month is going.  I always think I have lots of time but then all of a sudden I realize we are 10 days away from Christmas.  Luckily I am done my shopping and everything is wrapped with most of it already delivered but there's not a bit of baking anywhere... and there might not be either!
We have a new challenge at All Dressed Up stamps for December and I've used the Meowy Christmas digital image.  Not sure why I've never used this image before because I think it's quite cute for a holiday card.

Party 2 -CraftEmotion

 

I discovered a new for me brand of stamps and I just love those bug eyed little creatures, so fun!  They are CraftEmotions and I ordered them from Nellie Snellen in the Netherlands.  I wanted 5 sets desperately and the shop is so accommodating with reasonable prices and more than fair shipping charges.  Bonus... it took only 7 days for it to arrive from the Netherlands to Canada so I'm very impressed with their service.  This set is Party 2 and has some silly big eyed animals plus sentiments.

I dug out my Memory Box Honeycomb Stitched Circle which I've had forever but never used and cut it out of glittery black paper.  The sentiment is Elizabeth Craft Designs and also cut out of the glitter paper.  I just knew I had some bee paper in my stash and sure enough, a package of Close to My Heart paper was in the drawer... brand new and unopened!

Fairy Butterfly Wing - All Dressed Up

 

Well, here we are in September and quite honestly, I don't know where the time has gone!  Sometimes it feels like the last few months have flown by yet the next time it seems like it's been dragging on forever.  It's definitely fall here, the air seems more crisp and I see more yellow leaves on the trees every day.
We have a new release at All Dressed Up stamps and I was given the Fairy Butterfly Wings to use.  I decided to keep it very clean and simple using only a cutout die and some Frantage for embellishment.

Hi & hoping you are having a great week.  To those dealing with the devastation and upheaval due to the hurricanes - stay safe.  As one who has never experienced this trauma, I cannot begin to imagine the trauma but our thoughts are with you.
I am seriously trying to work my way through the mounds of Stampingbella stamps I have.  I love them and buy some from every release and then buy some more not from the release... you know the drill!  I am determined to get ink of some of these little lovelies and today's card is Chicks with a Sprinkle on Top.  Ice cream solves a lot of problems... actually, probably whatever chocolate does not.  The challenge theme at Stampingbella this week is a sketch:

I like working with sketches because it takes so much time and work out of making a card because most of the design is already there.  I didn't add the squares but put some flowers on instead.  I needed the sentiment on the front and was having problems making it fit with the squares so I changed it up a bit.

Today's make is another shaker using one of the lush Kennedy Grace Creations mixes and this one is Caramel Apple, which is a delish mixture of pretty yellow, green tones, chocolate and clear plus some seed beads.  I'm really not sure what the umbrella has to do with the flowers other than the die is new and the way the card ended is not at all how I had planned.

I used the Paper Smooches Scripty Sayings for the sentiment and the umbrella is MFT Layered Umbrella.

Father Christmas - Christmas at Sweet Stampin'

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' and the theme for this month is 'Father Christmas'. I used a Flourishes stamp called Santa I Believe which I've had for a long, long time and it's one of my go-to images for Santa.  To be honest with you, I could not find it with a Google search so I'm not sure the company is even in business anymore.
This has to be one of the quickest cards I've ever made.  I had forgotten the challenge was due so it was rush, rush ad for a change, everything fell into place and there wasn't a 'do-over' of anything.  I added some tints of colour with Copics, some gold embossing and that's it.  I don't know why the reds on this card seem so bright and stand out like they do... as I look at it, it seems to be a duller, more vintage red but I guess we all perk up a bit under good light, huh?

Amanda is Awesome - Stampingbella

I won this sweet stamp from Stampingbella when they had a release and have been itching to get some Copics on paper since I did.  This is Tiny Townie Amanda is Awesome.  I didn't photograph it but the sentiment that goes with the image is stamped on the inside of the card - it is too large to add to the front of the card with the sun and clouds because I wanted to follow this week's sketch at Bellarific Friday.   

 

The card is relatively simple, just some paper, a couple of dies and some Stickles.  The sky was sponged in with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass and the rest is coloured with Copics.

It's Friday again and that means another Sugar Nellie DT card.  I do like making these shaker cards and love the interactive nature of them.  You just cannot pick it up without giving it a little shake!  I used the Aqua Marina digi image and cut it out with my Cameo (the machine that hates me).  I'm getting not to bad at the print and cut but am not sure I will ever master that machine.  I love this paper from Michele Roos because it's got a lot going on but the colours are subtle and a bit shabby chic looking.  I thought it would be fun to try using the Memory Box Loopy Rings for the shaker part and I do like the look... kind of like bubbles.

I Love My Teddy and a Design Team Call!

It is new release time at All Dressed Up, and we have four cute images for you for this month's launch so be sure to head on over to the Shop and check them out.

   

All Dressed up is looking for a few more members to join our fabulously friendly team so we are having a design team call.  You will be required to post two project per month onto our DT blog, one project with our newly released images and one for a challenge.
