Adorable Wiederseim

Everyone ready for Christmas?  Baking, shopping, wrapping, cleaning?  I'm slowly picking away at it and have a few things done, but just a few!
Today's card is one of the cute little Adorable Wiederseim DSL #5 images from Nicecrane.  These images are so cute and Campbell kid-ish...  I'm hoping to do every one of them in this series.
The papers are First Edition's Day Dream, the leaves are cut with a CC Designs Leafy Branch Die, flowers are a Marianne Designs die and I added some Basic Grey brads to the center.  The sentiment is from the Lili of the Valley General Greetings set and finally, the image is coloured with Copics.

Vintage Hallowe'en

Spooky, creepy and oh so Hallowe'enie!  Time to make some cards for the grandkids but not to scare them too much.  This image is Nicecrane's Vintage Hallowe'en DSL and the tag is from the Hallowee'en tag collection.  This was my third attempt at this image and I said it would be the last.  I wanted to crackle it and then antique it with black distress ink (yes, I could see the whole thing in my head) but for whatever reason, the Crackle Accents reacted with my printer ink and it turned all blotched and smeary.  I did it twice... coloured the entire image and crackled it but no go so I decided to colour it and leave it, just sponge in a little marigold and black soot distress ink.  The only thing I could think of was to seal the paper after I'd coloured it but honestly, I did not want to take the chance that it would happen again.  So, if you have any ideas or a solution, please let me know.  The papers are from a 6 x 6 SEI paper pad and the ribbon is part of a monthly kit from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Our Village

This is one of the images from Nicecrane's Our Village DSL Vol 11 collection.  I like each image in the collection and hope to get more of them done.  For this one, I used Copics to colour the image and the chipboard swirls are from the Make it Crafty Flower Leaf Frames set.  I added some green distress ink to them and then smudged in a bit of walnut brown.  The lace is from my stash and I'm sorry, I did not write down the name of the paper supplier but it looks like it might be Prima.

Vintage Cute Kids

What a thrill it was to be asked by Ignacio to join the Nicecrane design team.  Didn't take me long to say yes either after I'd seen the designs. This is one of the children from the Vintage Kids DSL11 set and these images come in line drawn digis or precoloured sets.  There are six designs in this particular set and I chose #1 and coloured her with Copics.  A little bit of Glamour Dust (love that stuff!) and it's done.  The sentiment is from the Out on a Limb set by Papertrey, the paper is from Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection and the ribbon from a monthly ribbon club selection at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
