Spooky, creepy and oh so Hallowe'enie! Time to make some cards for the grandkids but not to scare them too much. This image is Nicecrane's
Vintage Hallowe'en DSL and the tag is from the
Hallowee'en tag collection. This was my third attempt at this image and I said it would be the last. I wanted to crackle it and then antique it with black distress ink (yes, I could see the whole thing in my head) but for whatever reason, the Crackle Accents reacted with my printer ink and it turned all blotched and smeary. I did it twice... coloured the entire image and crackled it but no go so I decided to colour it and leave it, just sponge in a little marigold and black soot distress ink. The only thing I could think of was to seal the paper after I'd coloured it but honestly, I did not want to take the chance that it would happen again. So, if you have any ideas or a solution, please let me know. The papers are from a 6 x 6 SEI paper pad and the ribbon is part of a monthly kit from
Really Reasonable Ribbon.

love the vintage look to this Halloween creation, afraid I can't help you with the crackle problem though as I never tried it over a printed picture - do enlighten us if you get a solution.

Unfortunately I am not a big Halloween fan, but this card with the pumpkins is very cute! I love the beautiful colored image.
