Reach High & Breathe - All Dressed Up Stamps Challenge

Hi there!  Hope you are well as we wend our way through the winter months.  I for one am looking forward to spring which happens to be my favourite season.
Today's card is for the January challenge at All Dressed Up stamps and I've used the Reach High image.  I really like these Yoga girls Wendy has drawn up, they are very sweet.
I sponged some Picked Raspberry distress ink and then splashed some water drops to get the mottled effect and then went ahead and stamped the sentiment.

The First Dance - All Dressed Up Challenge

Hi there and I hope you are well and managing all we are dealing with these days. It's seeming more like fall is near every day. There's getting to be a crispness in the air and I actually saw a tree which has a few yellow leaves.
We have a new challenge at All Dressed Up stamps for August and my card uses the The First Dance digital image which I think could be used as a wedding card and changing the colour of her dress could make it for another occasion. The challenge is always Anything Goes with the only rule to enter being you use an All Dressed Up image. If you don't have any, they can be can either be purchased at the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop or by downloading one of several cute freebies offered on the blog.

Sunflower - All Dressed Up Release

Hi and welcome to the May release at All Dressed Up digi stamps and we've got another four beautiful new images. I was given Sunflower to use.
Every one of the images is super cute.  Here's a pic of them all and they are in the store now.
I'm a little short on details as to colours, etc.  I was way behind getting this project done and although I did write it down, I cannot find the sticky note.  What a sad story when your organizational skills is dependant on sticky notes and you lose the darn note!
Be sure to visit the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog to see what else was created by the team for this release. Hello Darlin' - The Cat's Pajamas

Hi and I hope you've had a great weekend.  Winter temperatures here on the prairies is very mild with hardly any snow at all.
Shakers are one of my favourite styles and today's card is made with images from The Cat's Pajamas Hello Darlin' clear stamp set.  As soon as I saw the flamingo and Ostrich, I knew it called for a shaker.  This is such a cute stamp set which is perfect for a child's birthday, new baby, etc.

Let's Hygge - Three Room Studio

I'm back with the third stamp set from Three Room Studio's latest release and this set is called Let's Hygge.  What is Hygge you might ask?  Well, I had no clue so I looked it up and this is what Wikipedia says:
Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment.
When you look at the stamp set, it all makes sense and the set is named perfectly because every image and sentiment relates to being cozy, comfy and feeling good!
I did hardly any colouring on this image.  The chair is paper pieced and after doing a bit of shading, it's pretty much done.
Be sure to check out the Three Room Studio shop to have a look at the stamp sets, to the Three Room Studio blog, the design team blogs and Instagram
Thanks for stopping by!

Mr & Mrs Grumpling - Taylored Expressions

I have a wedding to go to soon and thought that seeing as how the couple has a great sense of humour, I'd use one of my Grumpling sets from Taylored Expressions.  These images and sentiments are so funny, sassy and I love them.
I have several of these sets but this is the first time I've had a chance to use Mr. & Mrs. Grumpling.  Honestly, the card works up so quick, the images are small and take no time to colour.  Every time I look at their facial expressions, it cracks me up.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Day Dreaming - All Dressed Up Challenge

Hi there!
A new challenge begins today at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and the theme is always Anything Goes with the only rule to enter being you use an All Dressed Up image.  If you don't have any, they can be can either be purchased at the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop or by downloading one of several cute freebies offered on the blog.
For my card, I decided to use the Day Dreaming image and I have to say, I really did enjoy making this card.  I like the image because she really does look like she's having some happy thoughts and it was perfect for the Technique Junkies Doo-Wah-Ditty stamp I recently purchased.  Everytime I look at this card, that Manfred Mann song pops into my head and bounces around in there for about five minutes.

You can find the Day Dreaming image over at the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop but I'll warn you, you won't be able to stop at just this one!

Sightseeing in Paris - All Dressed Up New Release

Today is release day for four brand new digi stamps from All Dressed Up and each is cuter than the last.  For my card, I was given the Sightseeing in Paris image to use - I'm not so sure I coloured this correctly because I didn't think the brown arches were part of the tower but since I've never been there, I'm only guessing.  At any rate, I think this is a super cute image and the other three are equally as adorable.
The card worked up quite quickly which is good because I was late getting it done. I coloured it with Copic markers and added the clouds with distress ink and a sponge.
Be sure to head on over to the challenge blog to see all the images (you won't be disappointed) and check out what the rest of the team did because there's lots of inspiration there.

Two Little Mice - All Dressed Up Challenge

There's a new challenge at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog starting today and I've used the sweet Two Little Mice for my card.  Now, I've said it before that I'm not particularly fond of mice and I'm still not but these two are super cute and quite harmless.  I had originally done this card for the March new release but had a life event happen and just did not manage to get it posted.  I'm still behind so will use it for the challenge instead.

Cave Couple - Stampingbella

Thank you for stopping by and I hope all is well.  Winter is just around the corner here... no snow yet but it's the air is crisp and keeps you walking at a very brisk pace.  I don't look forward to snow or winter at all but it happens every year and you'd think I'd get used to it.
Anyway, on to my card and this is going to be a very short post.  I have a dental appointment tomorrow and a zillion things to do tonight.  I didn't change dentists when we moved so it's a two hour drive each way.  The drive isn't the worst of it... it's what happens when you are in 'the big chair!
This is Stampingbella's Cave Couple and these two are just the cutest.  Very sweet image and I think that with different papers, this would even be cute as an engagement or wedding card.
If you are looking for it, I haven't added my colours and supply list but will do that tomorrow evening.
Thanks for popping in!

Delivery Fairy - A Day for Daisies

Today is the start of a new challenge at Making Memories Crafting and the theme is 'Add Some Layers' so unless you are doing a CAS project, this should be an easy one to follow along.  Our generous sponsors are A Day for Daisies and The Cutting Cafe.  I chose to use the Cute Delivery Fairy from ADFD for my card.
I kept my card fairly simple because I am still trying to familiarize myself with the new craft space.  It's getting easier to remember where I put things, but every time I sit down to make a card, it's like someone sneaked in during the night and moved and hid my 'stuff'.   Sadly, that 'someone' is me. hahhahah.... I do think once I have everything moved to where I want it, this craft space is going to be much better than what I had, simply because it's so much bigger.
Do pop on over to  Making Memories Crafting and check out the gorgeousness the girls on the team put together for this challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.
