Happy Birthday - Colorado Craft

 

Hi there and thanks for stopping by.  I have a quickie card I managed to get done while I was practicing more work with my Prisma pencils.  This cute little mouse is from the Colorado Craft set Birthday Wishing and he's just the right size to add to the die cut

I am always in need of generic birthday cards and I think this one will work just fine.  It was a good day... a small package of supplies I ordered finally arrived so I wanted to try out the die cut.

Christmas Tags

Every year I like to sit down and make some tags for Christmas gifts.  They are kind of fiddly and time consuming but they are very cute and now everyone looks to see the tag they got.  I know some of them get binned but just as many get tucked away and saved so it's all good because I like making them.
Frantic Stamper has three sets of stamps and matching dies in their September release and I have two of them to show you here.
The Playful Penguins set it has a total of 7 stamps (including the cutest igloo) and the matching die set also has 7.  At The North Pole also has 7 stamps and 7 dies.  Later in the week I will post a couple cards showing the same sets but for now, I thought these would make some cute tags.
I was able to figure out how to cut some tags on the Silhouette (I am sure that thing begins to laugh the minute I turn on the power button) so as soon as that was done, the rest was easy.  The paper was from a Carta Bella 6x6 pad which has strips of patterns and it was perfect for a bit of primitive looking colour on these.

You Are Perfect

Today is another crisp, fall-ish day here.  The temps are great and the trees and grass still green but you can tell fall is in the air.  So, instead of a card with fall colours, I wanted some bright, cheery and spring-like and this is it!
I have had this Nellie Snellen Schoffie image for ages (another stamp in the closet which was curing) and today is the day I decided to pull it out.  I CASED a blogging buddy's layout.  Christine did a fabulous make with this layout which I always liked.  Of course now I cannot find the link her card but go check her blog, you'll find a lot of gorgeousness there.
I also used some of the wonderful dies I received Frantic Stamper and the stamp is in her shop as well.  Love these dies... they cut crisp and clean every single time and the customer service at Fran's shop is excellent.  I used Copics to colour the image and my apologies, I forgot to write them down.. my memory stinks so I am unable to recall what they were.

You Make My Tail Wag

I had hoped to get this posted a little earlier today but you know what happens to the best laid plans...
For today's card I used a fabulous Frantic Stamper die and I just love those cute little paw prints.  The die is FRA-DIE-09570 and called Reverse Paw Prints Border.  Honestly, I think this is a die I will use over and over and I'm so happy I got it.  The image & sentiment is from MFT You Make My Tail Wag set.

Christmas Trees

Well, it's time to pick up the pace and get those Christmas cards rolling out.  This is a very quick and simple card which is super easy to do.  I used the Sheena Douglass Snowfall embossing folder (love that folder!) and cut the lower edge using a Martha Stewart Punch.  I ran some kraft through the crimper and another piece through a Stampin' Up embossing folder (sorry, I don't know the name of it because I don't have the packaging anymore).  The NOEL die is FRA-DIE-09629 from Frantic Stamper's August release.  Finally, a bit of twine and some pearls and it's finished.
