Floaty Goat - Newton's Nook

Today's card uses Newton's Nook Floaty Goat stamp and every time I see it, it cracks me up and reminds me of an old friend.  One of her favourite sayings was 'whatever floats your boat' so I think of that whenever I see this stamp.

I smooshed Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress ink to make the water.  The sun is Lil Inker Designs Large Sun, the flag from MFT Blueprints 18 and the scallop die is Waffle Flower's Lacy Circles.  Sadly the only die still available is Waffle Flower's.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Cuppa Cactus 2 - Newton's Nook

Hi!
For today's card, I've used the cute Cuppa Cactus set again - it probably looks familiar because I had posted a card in using it in September.

I'm working on getting a couple sets of cards made for gift giving and this cute set made the cut.  I was hoping to gift them at Christmas but I've got a ways to go before I get enough done.

Thanks for stopping by and stay well!

Cuppa Cactus - Newton's Nook

Hi there and I hope all is well with you.  We've had a brutal hot spell here for the last couple weeks and today it's finally a comfortable temperature which is so much more enjoyable.

I've had this cute cactus stamp for awhile now and have finally got around to do a make with it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Whatever Floats Your Goat

Usually, my posts consist of design team work but today's card is just for fun and
Newton's Nook Floaty Goat fits the bill for silly and fun.  My friend Lynn did a card with this image and I ordered the stamp as soon as I saw it.  One of my friends always says 'whatever makes your hair fly' and the sentiment reminds me of it.
I got a Scan n Cut at Christmas (to me, from me) and this was the first thing I cut out with it... I am so happy with that machine.  I don't do anything fancy with it but it's easy to use and so quick for cutting out images.  The card was simple, I smooshed Tumbled Glass Distress ink for the water, stamped in some water droplets, coloured the image with Copics and done!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
