O Christmas Tree - TLC Designs

Hi there and I hope all is well with you and yours.  Today's card is a CAS and I've used the tree from TLC Designs newly released Gnomeone digital stamp set.  The sentiment is one from the Snow Family Fun Tree set.  

This was a very quick and easy card to do, I simply printed the image and sentiment, added a little colouring and it's done!

Christmas Tags - TLC Designs

Hi!

Today's project is some more Christmas tags.  I know I've said it before but truly, making Christmas tags is something I enjoy so much and they look so good on packages too.

To make this batch, I used all TLC Designs products from the dies to the paper to the images.  This teal coloured paper is one of my favourites.  I'm not big on printing my own paper but these designs are gorgeous and print off in the most beautiful shades of colour.

Hi there!  Can you believe November is here already so Christmas won't be long either.  I have some more tags to add to my stash and this time it's some snow people.  I'm not sure why the pink one looks so lopsided because although I did not get it exactly straight, this looks much worse than it is... unless we say something like, 'what a clever design idea... she offset the sentiment'!  Yes, let's go with that!

Creepin' it Real - TLC Designs

TLC Designs has a cute digital stamp set and it's just in time for some Spooky Halloween themed cards and projects.  

For my project, I chose to make some Halloween tags for the grandkids treat bags and used the Creepin' it Real digital set and the large circle die from the Aztec Sunshine Circle die set with kraft paper. I enjoy working with digital images because you can move or size them however you want so it was simple to add the spider from the set to the web. I then trimmed printed the sentiment and trimmed it to fit the tag. Finally, it was time forsome googlie eyes and orange ribbon. Easy Peasy!

Snow Family Fun Mail - TLC Designs

One of my favourite things to do is make Christmas tags and these are the first ones for this year.  I thought I may as well get a head start with them because I hate finding out I don't have enough so then I feel rushed to get more done.  Silly to feel pressured when you can dash to the shop and buy a dozen for a dollar but handmade tags seems to be a tradition around here now.

I cut the circle with one from the Happy Dragonfly Circle die set out of kraft paper and added Frantage embossing powder. 

I find it enjoyable to be able to size and manipulate digital images to suit whatever I'm doing and find them very easy to use.

I did one each in blue, pink and green.  After the sentiment was printed, I cut them in strips and fishtailed the ends with my scissors.

Seahorse Samm - TLC Designs

 

Hi there and I hope all is well with you.  Today's card was created using digital backround paper and images from TLC Designs.  The background paper is Watercolor Naturals and the package includes some very pretty colours and designs.

The funny little puffer fish image and sentiment are in the Seashorse Samm set.  I've seen the puffers and they are fascinating and so interesting.  At one time we had someone bring us back a dried one as a souvenir... poor thing probably had a gruesome demise!

Koala Kindness - TLC Designs

Hi there!  Well, another month in the bag and now onto September.  Hard to believe it's fall already... beats me where the time goes but I seem to be always busy.  Having said that, I can't tell you a thing I've accomplished though.

Today's card uses the flower from TLC Designs Koala Kindness set and I think it's so pretty.  I used Word to add the lines on this one layer card which once the planning was done, it didn't take long to finish.

Aztec Sunshine - TLC Designs

 

Hi there and I hope all is well with you.  I have a very quick and easy card today and I think it would be a cheery one depending on what sentiment you choose to add.

I used the TLC Designs Aztec Sunshine Circle die which is a great set because it includes the sun, clouds, birds, and circle.  The  sentiment from the Celebrate set and before attaching, sprayed all the die cuts except the circle with Imagine Sheer Shimmer Spray.  The paper is also a digital paper pack from TLC Designs.

Yikes!  Here we are in August already and summer will begin to wind down.  Can't say as I'll miss the heat... we've had a hotter than normal summer and practically no rain so the cooler fall temperatures will be a welcome change.

Tip Toe Fairy Dance - TLC Designs

 

Wow, it's almost the end of July and I don't know why time is flying by like it is.  In so many ways, it seems like that last year and a half has dragged on forever and yet at the same time, it's zoomed by!

Today's card uses the recently released Tip Toe Fairy Dance stamp set from TLC Designs.  I used the 'smooshing' technique for some contrast on the background and the card was quick and easy.

Fancy Fin -TLC Designs

 

Hi there and I hope you are keeping well!  So far, our summer here has been very hot and dryer than normal so it would be nice to see some rain.

For today's card, I decided to do a shaker and the Fancy Fin digital stamp set from TLC Designs was perfect.  This set comes with different whale images plus plenty of accessories like a sand dollar, starfish, blowhole sprays, sandcastles, etc.  It's a cute set and I paired it with the Dragon Baby Greetings for the sentiment and flower.

Hi there!  Today's card features a cute stamp set called Toga's and Bubbles stamp set from TLC Designs.

I also used the pretty Dragons in Winter paper pack.  Design #1 is the background and is beautiful shades and patterns of aqua and #2 is the plain piece. They match perfectly and are gorgeous.  I haven't used digital papers much in the past but these paper packs are exceptionally pretty, perfectly coordinated and I plan on using them often.

Turtle-iscious - TLC Designs

For today's card, I used the Turtle-icious clear stamp set which is so adorable with four main characters, four accessory stamps and 6 sentiments and can be purchased at the TLC Designs shop.

To create, I did some light stenciling with distress ink for the background of the card, then did some masking and added the flowers around the egg shell and then cut everything out. The image was coloured with Copic markers and I used pop up dots behind it to give it some dimension when attached to the card.

The sentiment was stamped, cut in a fish tail banner shape and lightly sponged with pink distress ink and a twine bow bow added before attaching to the base with pop up dots. Final step was to glue down a few enamel dots.

There are so many beautiful digital paper sets at TLC Designs and since pink is one of my favorite colors, I chose and printed the Ink Me in Pink paper set to start my card.  Besides being pretty, 100% of the proceeds from purchasing this paper set are donated to breast cancer research.

The image and sentiment were printed and I like how the sentiment just nestles in amongst the flowers and leaves, like they were made for each other!  They were then cut into a circle and colored with Copic markers. A gray mat was added because I always think gray and pink are such a lovely color combination and it matches the stems in the paper pattern.

The final step is to assemble the card and voila, it is finished!

I have some exciting news to share with you.  I have joined the TLC Creations design team and today is my first post.

For my card, I used the pretty Blessings digital image and paired it with one of the What is Love sentiment which is included in the set.

This is such a sweet image and makes me think it would be a perfect baby card or a card you put in your child' treasure box so they know how cherished he/she is.

I sponged in Worn Lipstick & Spun Sugar Distress Ink and then spritzed water to get the mottled effect.  The wings were brushed with clear Wink of Stella and Stickles added to the flowers.
