Holiday Tags - For sure this is the end!

The last of my Christmas tags!  Finally...

The digital images are from a company called Pink Petticoat and then they changed to The Lovely Studio but I can't find them anywhere now so I think she's closed shop.  Such a shame because she had the cutest images.

The tag die is Avery Elle's Easy Layers Tags Elle-ments and it is fabulous!  It's considerably larger than any other tag die I have and they will surely stand out on any gift.  That's it, the tags for 2021 are a wrap!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Holiday Tags - The End (well, almost)!

Hi!  I'll have one more post after this with Christmas tags.  Gotta tell ya, I love making them but this time I took on a bit too much.  Seemed like a good idea at the time so I cut out 16 of them... then it's time to colour and it seemed like it would never end!  But in the end, I have a healthy stash of tags plus I have enough extra to give away.

New Home - Pink Petticoat

I wanted to make a card for a dear friend who is moving into a new place and the digital image
called In My Garden from Pink Petticoat fits the bill.  Sadly, this company isn't in business anymore and I miss it because she had some cute images.  I know she was done for awhile and then came back under The Lovely Studio but that appears to be gone now too.

I used a die from Marianne Design Craftables #1248, coloured the image with Copics and it was done in a flash.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good week!

New Home

Hello and I hope all is well with you.  It's good here but definitely fall weather with it being a little cooler and the leaves on the trees are quickly changing colour.
Today's card was made for someone who has purchased a new home so I sent this along with the housewarming gift I had made.  The cute little mushroom house is a digi from Pink Petticoat but they no longer sell under that name.  She now makes her images available under The Lovely Studio.   I have so many of her images and am very glad I got them when I did because she doesn't have them all listed in the new shop.
Thanks for stopping by, take care and have a great week!

Christmas Bauble - All Dressed Up

Hi there and welcome to the new release at All Dressed Up which is now available and each one of the four images is super cute. I was given the Christmas Bauble digi and I'm not going to lie, getting those baubles highlighted was a big task.  I've not been very motivated with cardmaking lately so I really had to apply myself and it's not perfect but I am happy with the end result.  Here's a snap of the four new digi stamps which are available at the All Dressed Up Etsy shop for purchase now.
When finished colouring the image, I added some Star Dust Stickles to the wings and then used a gold Spica pen for the lines on the bauble.  The sentiment is from a digi shop called Pink Petticoat and she had the loveliest sentiments and sweet images.  She's since opened again and is now called The Lovely Studio but I'm not sure the sentiment set is in there yet as I cannot locate a search button and haven't had time to go through the shop yet.
Hope you are finished or close to for the last of those Christmas cards and tags!  I have one more card to do for the All Dressed Up challenge on the 15th and then some quick tags and I will be done.
Be sure to visit the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog  to see what else was created by the team for this release.  While you are there, take a peek at the current challenge where the theme at the is always Anything Goes with the only rule to enter being you use an All Dressed Up image.  If you don't have any, they can be can either be purchased at the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop or downloading one of several cute freebies offered on the blog.

Mushroom House - Little Blue Button Stamps

Hi and I hope you are doing well as we await the winter season.
Today's card is my second post as guest designer for Little Blue Button Stamps and for this card I opted to use the cute Mushroom House digi.  This makes the perfect card for a 'Congrats on Your New Home' occasion which is exactly what I am going to use it for because we have some friends who just purchased a new house.
My thanks to Olga from Little Blue Button Stamps for inviting me to guest design for the month of November and for the cute images I was given to work with.
Be sure to drop into the Little Blue Button Stamp store to see all the lovely images and then pop by the Little Blue Button Stamps Blog for more inspiration.

Butterfly Girl - Sugar Nellie

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the last few days of November.  It seems so cold here right now - those first sub zero temps at the start of winter chill me to the bone but I know in a couple weeks I will be a little more used to it and adapted to the fact that I have to dress warmer.  Time to pull out the mitts and winter boots!  We don`t have much for snow, barely a skiff of it covering the ground but that can change overnight.  If it has to be cold, I like there to be snow on the ground.
For today`s card, I used the Butterfly Girl digi which is from the Simply Sassy range of stamps by Sugar Nellie.  This was my third attempt at that long flowing hair and grrrrrr..., I still didn`t get it right but I wasn`t doing it again.  For my first try, I started with the clothing and had most of it done and then totally ruined the whole thing with a rotten job on the hair.  Next time over, I began with the hair.  It`s not perfect and I don`t really like the colours of it but it`s a huge improvement over the first one.
I`ve added a Pink Petticoat sentiment (so sad her shop is closed because she had some great digis and paper) and the die cut flowers are from MFT Flower and Leaf Trio set.

Princess - Sugar Nellie

Happy Friday to all of us!
For today's DT card at Sugar Nellie, I used the Princess digi.  I love this image and have used it several times and you'll probably see it a few more. I decided to mix it up a bit this week and instead of the usual square card, I did a circle. hahahha... not really anything too different, just the shape!
Here is the inside of the card:

Elf Made Magic - Sugar Nellie Shaker Card

Well, I finally did it... I made my first shaker card and am actually quite happy with it but there was a few times when I wasn't so sure I'd finish it.  First off, I'd bought my fun foam and acetate awhile back, put it in a 'safe' place and then spent some time looking for it.  Sheesh... it was right where I'd put it!  I thought maybe that same little wretch who stole my glue eraser had come back for more supplies.  First mistake was thinking I'd bought acetate but nope, when I opened the package, it was vellum and of course that isn't what I wanted to use.  Lucky for me, I had a couple sheets of the acetate which is good but I now have 25 sheets of frosty vellum... hahhahahah... not sure what I should do with that!
After deciding on the image I wanted to use, I head on over to my Silhouette and that thing just frustrates me to no end.  Two hours later and a massive pile of scrap paper, I did end up with a nice little cut out image.  This is my own fault though... if I used that machine more, I'd get along with it better but usually I give it a couple of glares and march right by.  And finally... as I sit here looking at this picture, her wand is covering part of the sentiment.  Brother... it is far too late now to move it without having the paper tear so it is where it is.  If you look at it from just the right angle, you can see what it says...
Anyway, after all my rambling and whining, I'm also about to tell you that this card is my Friday post for Sugar Nellie and I've used the Elf Made Magic digi image.  These little fairies in the shop are always a favourite of mine.

Happy Friday and bring on the weekend!  It seems like it's been a very busy week so to add a little more to the mix (no pressure...), here's a Christmas card in June for my Sugar Nellie post.  I've used Funky Kits Elf Made Magic digi stamp which can be purchased in the shop.  I do love these little fairies!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter weekend to you!  This is a very quick post today to show the cards I made for the grands this Easter.  They had to be quick because I totally forgot about picking up some treats (chocolate, chocolate, chocolate) so I decided to quickly make up some cards and put a little cash in instead, which I'm sure both their mom and their teeth appreciated.
All images are by Pink Petticoat's Hoppy Bunnies set. These are so quick and easy because the sentiment is included with the image so it's print, colour and glue!
Thanks for stopping by!

All Dressed Up for Christmas!

Tick-tock, Tick-tock... this month is half over and just a few more days until Christmas!  Today is a new release of All Dressed Up digi images and this little gal is aptly named All Dressed Up for Christmas and she is so perfect for the Clean and Simple Christmas theme we are running at the challenge blog right now.  There`s a few more sweet holiday images available so the hard part is deciding which one you want to use.  I coloured this with Copic markers and then added two of my favourite things... Frantage and Stickles!  The sentiment is one from Pink Petticoat`s Handwritten Christmas Greetings set.  I added the inked border to the card by using a .5 Copic Multi-Liner.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your baking is getting done, the shopping is finished, the house is ready for company... it`s a busy time of year but one of my very favourites!

Buttons & Bows

Today's challenge at Stamps R Us is Buttons & Bows & is sponsored by KLM Digi Stamps so head on over & see what the rest of the design team has in store for you!
My card for the challenge is a digi by Pink Petticoat.  It's one of the Frillie Millies & her name is BonBon.  These are fun images & work up quickly.  I've coloured her with Copics & added pink Stickles to the dress, flower & bows.  The paper & ribbon is Stampin Up & the Sentiment is Whiff of Joy's Magical Wishes sentiment set.  I love that set & use it a lot because it is so versatile & stamps such a clear, crisp image.
