I love shaker cards but they seem to take me a long time to get done quite often a couple of attempts.  For this one, I sponged in Broken China Distress Oxide ink.  This is the first time using the Distress Oxide and I am sold on them so have actually gone out and bought a few more colours.  They blend beautifully and seem to react to the water quicker and more dramatically.  Not sure if I'm describing this accurately but I certainly do like them.
Be sure to head on over to the challenge blog to see all the images (you won't be disappointed) and check out what the rest of the team did because there's lots of inspiration there.
While you are there, take a peek at the current challenge where the theme at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog  is always Anything Goes with the only rule to enter being you use an All Dressed Up image.  If you don't have any, they can be can either be purchased at the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop or downloading one of several cute freebies offered on the blog.
Join us for some fun and wonderful creations at the Facebook Fan PageFacebook Challenge (there is a theme for this one) and there's also a Pinterest page to view some more gorgeousness.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good week!

What a gorgeous shaker card! Fabulous colouring as usual, I especially like the colour combination for her tail. Lovely sentiment too.
The oxides are wonderful, you'll have bought the whole lot of them before you know it :). Debra x

Oh Marilyn this is gorgeous - love how you have coloured the mermaid, and the shaker element is the perfect backdrop for her.
