Baby Card - LaLa Land

Hi!  Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the warm summer weather.  Today's card is one I made awhile back and I'm quite proud of it.  Not that the card is super wonderful but I'm so proud of the fact that I won a small battle with my Silhouette!  hahahhahah.... that thing is going to be the end of me!  I'm putting in a Christmas request early because I'd like to try one of those new Scan n' Cut machines but who knows, maybe I'll have the same woes.
This image is called Sending Smiles and is a digi stamp from La-La Land Crafts.  I thought it would make a perfect baby card and since I needed one, this seemed like a good time.  A little paper piecing for the balloon and some quick colouring and it's done.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

That's wonderful Marilyn, you are right to be proud of it

I've been tempted by the scan and cut too but have restrained because I fear it will end up gathering dust next to my cricut, I love my dies too much!

What an adorable card! Love the bear and his paper pieced balloon.

I've got both machines and can't use either >:(. All I want it for is to cut round images but I just can't get my head round them. I could really do with someone to just come round show me what to do! Having said that the Scan n cut it simpler to use overall so you may have better luck than me. Debra x

I hear your love/hate relationship with technology - I had a chance to buy a cricuit but turned it down in the end ... it is quicker to use scissors!!
Love your beautiful baby card Marilyn - that image is such a sweetie and so beautifully mounted.
