Petunia Gets a Piggyback - Stampingbella

Today's card uses a Stampingbella image called Petunia Gets a Piggy Back.  I've had this stamp for ages and I love the whimsical nature of it.  Bellarific Friday has a colour inspiration for their challenge this week so thought I'd give it a go.

I usually have difficulties with colour themes and did with this one too but I am happy with the end result.  These themes do get me out of my comfort zone which is good but I wobble back and forth so much when choosing paper and colours that I usually spend an unreasonable amount of time doing it.  After I finished colouring the image, I sponged in Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink and a cardstock cloud template which I found on the internet a long time ago.
I am actually doing a fairly decent job of wading through my stockpile of Bellas.  I have so many and decided I would try to do one per week so they could all see some ink.  (new ones should be coming out soon now!).
