Kisses - Saturated Canary

Hi there!  I hope you are well and having a wonderful summer.  Ours has been quite rainy and very hot this last while.  Everything looks green and lush with all the moisture we've had.  I'm not sure of the numbers but someone told me it is a record amount of rainfall this year.
I've been very slow and a procrastinator about getting a card posted but finally, here it is.  This is a Saturated Canary image call Kisses and my first go at doing curly hair.  It's not the best but I am happy with it nonetheless.  I made this card well over a year ago and it's been in a small stash of unposted cards until now.  I don't know why her skin looks so pink... I even took more pictures and the proper colour just doesn't show.
I lightly sponged Tim Holtz's Weathered Wood distress ink around the image and sprinkled some of that wonderful Frantage around the image and on the hearts.
A bit of an update on the move... well, that is very slow.  We are still painting and now installing some new cupboards.  It seems like we aren't accomplishing a whole lot but once those cabinets are in and I finish painting the closets, we will be much, much closer.
Thanks for stopping by.  I do enjoy your visits and comments and cannot wait to get back to crafting more.
Have a great week!

I always love stopping by your blog : ) I love SC images, and how masterfully you have colored this sweet image! I love this card! The frantage adds a great touch of dimension too. Glad the move is coming along, even if slowly.... Not cold here but August has been rainy..... The farmers and flowers need it : )
