Hello and thanks for popping in. For my card today, I've decided to do another shaker card. I remember reading on someone's blog awhile ago that once make your first shaker card, you are hooked on them. For me, that is true... I love the shakers and how they look and no matter who picks up these cards, they do have to shake, shake, shake.
I love these Kennedy Grace Creations sequins mixes. This one is Pink Champagne and it is so pretty, delicate and soft looking. I like all the fine little pieces in here and you can really see the tiny hearts and flowers against the white background. Look for her complete selection under the 'Sequin Mixes' tab.
I had just got the Mama Elephant Honey Bunny stamp set and this bunny duo just cried out for a shaker card design so with these pretty sequins and sweet stamp, it's a match made in heaven!
I did use a couple of Copics to lightly shade around the pieced image but that's it... the rest was a matter of putting the card together. I do have to practice 'not getting glue all over the place' when I do these. I always seem to find a wayward gob of it after!
Supplies:
Stamp & Sentiment - Mama Elephant's Honey Bunny
Sequins - Kennedy Grace Creations Pink Champagne
Embossing folder - I don't have a name for it but I think it is a Provo Craft tiny heart
Dies - Sue Wilson Open Petals
Paper- Wild Rose Antique Library
