Butterfly Girl - Sugar Nellie

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the last few days of November.  It seems so cold here right now - those first sub zero temps at the start of winter chill me to the bone but I know in a couple weeks I will be a little more used to it and adapted to the fact that I have to dress warmer.  Time to pull out the mitts and winter boots!  We don`t have much for snow, barely a skiff of it covering the ground but that can change overnight.  If it has to be cold, I like there to be snow on the ground.
For today`s card, I used the Butterfly Girl digi which is from the Simply Sassy range of stamps by Sugar Nellie.  This was my third attempt at that long flowing hair and grrrrrr..., I still didn`t get it right but I wasn`t doing it again.  For my first try, I started with the clothing and had most of it done and then totally ruined the whole thing with a rotten job on the hair.  Next time over, I began with the hair.  It`s not perfect and I don`t really like the colours of it but it`s a huge improvement over the first one.
I`ve added a Pink Petticoat sentiment (so sad her shop is closed because she had some great digis and paper) and the die cut flowers are from MFT Flower and Leaf Trio set.
You can find Butterfly Girl in the Funky Kits shop:

Marilyn I love this girl and the way you have coloured her - the hair looks pretty darn good to me!!
We have rain here at the moment, but it is much needed, even this early in the season.
Blessings
Maxine

You've coloured her perfectly Marilyn... I don't know what you see wrong about her hair as it looks wonderful to me... as does the rest of her colouring! And that sentiment goes so well with her - and your design is fab too!

Eeeek you have sub-zero already?? Keep warm!!

Big hugs

I think her hair looks lovely! I'm glad this beauty didn't end up in the bin too. She's a really sweet image and the sentiment is perfect for her.
I'm very pleased I'm not living there, that's just too cold for me! Give me wet and miserable any day :D. Debra x

Ha- if I had an image colored like this I would frame it! The hair looks fine to me and is a great blend with the Dp you used. Loving the rest of your coloring as well. I cannot imagine having sub zero temps here- I am inside and freezing in the house today..... Oh brother- so not ready for winter!

It's still quite mild here in the UK and I am always in 2 minds about the cold; I love a crisp, cold but sunny day...but I tend to lose circulation in my fingers which I don't love quite so much :-(
If it's a little chilly outside, at least your card is like a warm Summer breeze with the pretty floral papers and that gorgeous image...nowt wrong with that colouring either!
Big hugs, Kat xx

She is so cute, love that butterfly on her nose. I love the metaphor. Your card is beautiful. I am warm with melting snow all around, in the 50's here! I hope you get some warm.
