Well, here we are, winding down another week and we'll soon be peeking into the month of June. I know I'm always moaning about how quickly time flies by but it really does for me and it seems like the older I get, the faster it flies!
Today's card uses Stampingbella's magnificent Seniorita Erma who is all decked out in her Christmas splendor. What an adventure this card was, or shall I say... I created some opportunities for myself. Wowsa.. it all began with the yellows on the bulb. I could not get them to blend and it looked awful so the only option to fix it that I could think of was to add some Copic Blender Solution to a loopy cloth and blot some of it out... hoping you would think I was so adventurous by creating some texture. ha! Then the dotted shading... I don't know where it went wrong but it sure did. Way too much, way too dark so I tried to mute some of it with my blender and then fill in the remainder with the lightest gray. Considering the mishaps, I'm still rather happy with it. The sentiment comes with the image but it really didn't fit too well anywhere on the card so I put it inside. I have always like the larger size of Stamping Bella's stamps and they are big... all of my cards are 5.75" square and this one fills it up. Such a great image and I love the whimsical sentiment.
