Happy Birthday Wendy!
Today is Wendy Burns birthday. Wendy is the artist and creator of All Dressed Up and the team is surprising her with a birthday hop. We want to wish her a Happy Birthday, thank her for her
amazing images, and for everything she does. So... Happy Birthday Wendy and thank you! You are the best!
We
normally have our new challenge on the 15th, but since today is Wendy’s
birthday we wanted to do a surprise birthday blog hop and combine it with our
challenge. The challenge theme is Anything Goes and it can be any project as long as it features one
of the All Dressed Up images.
I
have used Abi Ballerina for my hop/challenge card. Although I dearly love all of Wendy's images, Abi Ballerina will always be my favourite and she is very dear to my heart. I first saw this image on Wendy's blog and knew it would be perfect for my grandaughter's birthday so I wrote to Wendy and asked her if she could do it as a line drawing for our Abi. Wendy, being the kinds, sweet lady she is, sent it to me right away so I could do Abi's card. That card and my very first All Dressed Up image is in this post.
This
challenge has an easy peasy theme of Anything Goes and we cannot wait to see all your fantastic entries. The
winner will receive 3 images of their choice from the Store. Onto
the blog hop, below is a list of the dressy girls for you to hop around….since we have a large team, you have until midnight 1st
GMT to hop round to them all. At
the end of the hop two random Dressy Girls will pick someone who has visited
and commented on their hop card to receive 2 images of their choice from the All Dressed Up Etsy Store. Happy
hopping!
The
winners of the hop and challenge will be announced on 3rd July on the blog.
