I Love My Puppy

Hope your week is shaping up to be a good one.  This is definitely my favourite time of year when the temp isn't too hot and everything is fresh, new and green.
The name of this digi is I Love My Puppy by the very talented new artist Wendy Burns.  Wendy is the one who designed the cute little Abi Ballerina I used for my granddaughter's birthday card and I love these sweet girls.  She's opened a new Etsy shop where she sells these little cuties and is adding more all the time.  This digi comes with several designs including the one on this card, one of just the puppy, a single of the flowers and then one of the little gal alone so it's a good value.
I used Prima's Believe papers and the Whimsy Notables 2 die for the Ali Edwards Smooch sentiment.  The flowers were cut using the Memory Box Fancy Blossoms die and I sprinkled some of the Aged Wine embossing enamel on them before gluing them down.  Lastly, some of of that fabulous Frantage randomly sprinkled over the papers... Frantage is my new love and I hate to say it, but it just might be replacing my beloved Stickles as a glam finish.  Love this stuff!

Your cards are absolutely adorable. I wondered if you would share how you get the random look of the frantage embossing powder look on the card. Are you using a versamark pad and then randomly dropping the embossing powder onto the versamark ink? I can't seem to figure out how you craftly ladies are accomplishing this technique. Thanks for your help. Blessings, Sherrie Clark
