Whimsy Duck

This is Whimsy Duck and is one of the images in Whimsy Stamp's Animal Collection. The card was one of my submissions and published in Whimsy's printed version of the Inspiration Magazine. To create the clouds, I used Bev Rochester’s cloud template, and gently rubbed in Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass distress ink. For the water, I free-handed a shore line with a Copic Multiliner. For the reflection, and using Copics, I lightly brushed back and forth in the water with the same colours as the duck and cat tails and then stroked over all the water again with BG70 to tone it down a bit. I then added glue with a glue pen and sprinkled Glamour Dust in the water area. The sentiment is computer generated, the papers are from Pink Paislee's Indigo Blue collection and the brads are Basic Grey. I used the following Copics to colour:
Water – B93, B91, BG70, BG000
Duck – E57, E55, E53, E51 and G21 over all of it to get the green tone (although I wish I hadn't made him quite so green!). For the bill, I used E97, E95, E93
Ground – E37, E35, E31
Cat tails – E19, E13
