Todays card is my fourth and final week as one of June's guest designers for The Perfect Sentiment and I'd like to thank the wonderful and talented ladies there for having me. This week's challenge is to create a card with a sunny sentiment with the added twist of using an image of the sun somewhere on the card and is sponsored by Pattie's Creations. I used that cute little Wryn from Tiddly Inks and this image is called Grow a Little Love. I do like those Tiddly Ink images and Wryn is one of my favourites. I used Copics to colour the image and then sprinkled some fine glitter into the Glossy Accents I'd added to the hearts. The papers are from a 6 x 6 pad of First Edition papers from the Love Letters collection. The little clouds are a memory box die and then came the image of the sun... now here I was stumped because where on earth did all the suns go - I couldn't find a single stamp or image so I used my star nestabilities to do the rays and I found the sentiment on the internet. I added some sparkles to the sun and clouds but got a little heavy handed on one of the sun's rays... that stuff is impossible to get off if you add too much!
Again, thank you to Jennipher and the gals at The Perfect Sentiment for making my short time there so enjoyable.
Be sure to head on over to the The Perfect Sentiment to see what the the talented design team has created, then get busy and create your card and enter it into the challenge but most of all, have some fun with it!
