One of my favourite tasks each year is to make holiday tags and I may have overdone it slightly this year. I started cutting and stamping and each time I noticed a set in my stash, I stamped and cut some more. That was the easy part... hahahaha, anyway, when the dust settled and I tied my last tag, I ended up with 85! Yes, 85... more than I usually do but it's something I enjoy and I have a few people I like to give small bundles to.
The first set was simple, I used the Dear Santa stamp from Verses. I rubbed in some distress ink and then embossed with Brutus Monroe's Raven Sparkle powder. Love that stuff but was so anxious to use it that I didn't do a good job of getting rid of the static.
For these, I used one of my old favourites which is Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes. Those frosty fellows never get old! The background stamp is a new one, I love it and wish it were bigger. It's by a company which is new to me and called Gourmet Rubber Stamps. Super good quality so I'm going to check into them further.
This set is a bit of a mix. I don't remember which set I got the sentiment from but I do remember watching a You Tube video (I think it was Jenn Shurkus) and she said she uses gold ink under gold embossing powder and I tried it instead of Versamark and it works great! The Santa is a Gummiapan stamp and the holly and berries is an old Paper Smooches die.
Thanks for stopping by... more tags to come!

What a beautiful set of tags Marilyn - I don't know that I would use 85 tags in a year, well done if you do :) They are almost a gift in themselves. they are so pretty
