Love - Fizzy Moon

I was finally able to get my sweaty little hands on some of those cute Fizzy Moon stamps.  This one is called Love.  They seem to be hard to find in Canada & the US & so I bought them from a seller on Ebay.  The paper is Basic Grey & the big silver brad is Stampin Up (that is just the greatest container of brads I've ever purchased!); the postage stamp is from Whimsy Stamps (gotta love those too... some of my favourites) & the pearls are from my stash.  I coloured the image with Copics & just now when I'm looking at it, I see I forgot to sponge in some shading around the bear.  Ah well... I always say perfection sets a precedence & that's not something I'm ever going to be known for.
Challenges:
Let's Ink it Up - Embellish It
Papercutz - Anything Goes
Alphabet Challenge - Zoo Animals
Art Impressions - Use an animal on your card
Charisma Cardz - April Showers/May Flowers

Daisy With Puppy

Today's card is another preview of Bizzy Bec's Daisy collection of digi stamps & this little gal is called Daisy With Puppy.  These images are so easy to work with & perfect for teen girl cards.  The tickets are from Whimsy Stamps Treasured Moments set & the die for the tickets is also from Whimsy Stamps.  The ribbon is out of a monthly packet from Really Reasonable Ribbon (I love getting those in the mail), the stars are from Bizzy Bec's & the paper is TCP Studio Girlfriend Phrases.  The brads & heart buttons were buried deep in the bottom of my stash!  You can see more previews from the design team at Bizzy Bec's Store Blog.

Happy Buzzer

Today's card is for the Stamps R Us Challenge which is sponsored by Doodle Pantry & the theme is Bugs & Embossing .  I decided to go with the Happy Buzzer image & used a computer generated sentiment.  I embossed the yellow with my Cuttlebug & a folder by Crafts-Too.  The pattern of the folder is hard to see on this picture but it is of butterflies & very cute.  I used Copics to colour the image & added Stickles to the wings.  The brads, papers & ribbon are all from my stash.

Abi's Cards

There's a great challenge going on at Simon Says Stamp with an Anything Goes theme & it is just for children.  I think this is a super challenge to get the young ones crafting, see their talents showcased & I'd like to pass along a huge bouquet & thank you to Simon Says for hosting it.
My kids are grown & gone but I have three fabulous grandchildren & those little people are just the best.  This entry is my grandaughter Abi's - she's two & loves to sit & colour, cut, glue & in case you hadn't noticed, her favourite embellishment is flowers.  She's done up four cards & all use Pink Petticoat images.  Mom helped get the paper straight but the rest is Abi's handiwork & she is going to be thrilled to see her cards on the 'puter'.

Daisy Laying in the Field

Today's card is from Bizzy Bec's Daisy line of digi stamps & this one is called Daisy Laying in the Field.  You can see what the rest of the design team is up to & check out some of the other images in this line at Bec's store blog.  You have a chance to win the whole Daisy & Cherry Martini digi line of stamps by entering the April challenge (scroll further down Bec's store challenge page) with the theme of 'Making your own designer paper'.  For my card, I used one the freebie designer papers posted by Bec.  The sentiment is from Set 6 of Lili of the Valley called Dreamy Days Sentiments.  A Nellie Snellen die cut (MFD 0018) was used for the sentiment border & I coloured the image with Copics.
Challenges:
Copic Creations - name your favourite paper (I've used several brands & although all are good, my favourite is the X-Press It Blending Card but I am going to get some of the Cryogen White to try - I hate to miss out on anything!)
Totally Stampalicious - Anything Goes
Digital Tuesday - Little Women
PaperCrafting Journey - Use a freebie (the freebie is the ribbon.  It came on a box of glorious & yummy cupcakes we purchased at a bakery while on vacation.  Also, the image did not cost me anything because it was part of Bizzy Bec's design team package)

Daisy Sitting with Glasses - Bizzy Bec's April Challenge

The challenge at Bizzy Bec's this month is to make your own designer paper, either digital, stamped or inked & then make a card with it.  Since I haven't a clue about making digital paper, it was going to have to be stamped.  I took brown cardstock & used Stampin Up's Crosshatched stamp for the background.  For the white background, I used Whimsy Stamps Life Defined background stamp & brown ink.  The circle sentiments are also from Whimsy Stamps & this set is titled Circle Postmark Sentiments.  The seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, the brad is Stampin Up, & the doily is from Bizzy Bec's.
The image is from Bec's new line of digital stamps called Daisy & this little gal is Daisy Sitting with Sunglasses.  The image is coloured with Copics & I punched the little flowers out of some of the background paper & added some Opaline pearls from Basic Gray.  The collection is available in Bizzy Bec's store now.  If you head on over to Bec's Blog, you can view some of the design team's sneak peeks & challenge projects.  Bec has also put up some free digital papers for you to try.
Challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
One Crazy Stamper - Flowers

Clementine - Stamps R Us Challenge

The challenge at Stamps R Us for the next two weeks is Easter & is sponsored by Stamp Fairy.  The image I chose is called Clementine.  The paper is from that stash I always talk about - it's not getting much smaller because I keep buying more... yes, I believe I am a CPP (Compulsive Paper Purchaser), but I'm not looking for any 7 or 12 step programs to cure this.   Anyway, the paper is one of those two-sided ones I love to use because it saves me a lot of time with 'matching it up'.  It's by Heidi Grace & is called Baby Girl Tall Flowers.  The pearls are Basic Grey's Opaline & were sent as part of a design team package from Bizzy Bec & the image is coloured with Copics.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Spring Letter Seals & the Happy Easter sentiment is from an old clear set I have had for ages.   Challenges:
Stamp Something - Use a digi
Anything Goes - Pearls
