This week's challenge at Catch the Bug Blogspot is to make a summer-themed card & hmmmmmm... I just realized I hadn't read that carefully enough & the obvious is here for everyone to see - this is not a card! I made a gift bag using a piece of paper called Flowers Glitter made by Creative Imaginations. The image is Bugaboo Stamps Spring Stuff Bee1 & Bee Flower which were colored with Copic markers. The little stars were punched & a pearl added. The remaining embellishments are from the stash. Head on over to Catch the Bug Blogspot to check out what the other members of the design team came up with & enter to win some fabulous digi stamps.

Bugaboo Stamps New Release!!
Jodie has done it again! This Christmas gal is from her new release today & unless you want to be left in the dust from the stampede, you better head on over to Bugaboo Stamps & check it out. I've seen a preview of some of these gals & they are campy, vampy & ooh-la-la! Make sure you stop by Jodie's blog to see what she's been up to & then off to Catch the Bug Blog to see what the creative design team came up with. For my card, I used some fabulous glitter paper which was given to me at Christmas, colored the image with my Copics & added Stickles for the trim on her hat, dress & garter. The holly brad is from my stash & the sentiment is computer generated. This is a design set which I must buy!And woohoo... my second card with lots of red & I seem to be moving out of the 'red Copic slump' where it blotched everywhere I used the red marker! Here's hoping it stays away!

Christmas in July
The theme for today's challenge at Bugaboo Stamps is Christmas in July. Seems like it's too soon to be thinking of Christmas but it will be here before we know it!
I used the JJ Wrapped Up image found in the Character section under JJ, then Christmas Cheer. These gals are very easy to work with & color up quickly. I used my copics, cut the tag with Nestabilities & the flower with a Sizzix Sizzlit & some paper & pearls I had in my stash.
Head on over to Jodie's blog & then to Catch the Bug for all the details.
Participating in the challenge gives you a chance to win:
1st prize - 7 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
2nd prize - 4 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
3rd prize - 2 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice

Bugaboo New Release
The new release at Bugaboo Stamps today is called Butterfly Borders & I love all the swirls on this one. I colored it with Copics and then used blue Stickles on every line. Although it doesn't show up too well on the photo, I used my Nestabilities to emboss around the image. Head on over to Catch the Bug to see what the rest of the design team came up with & then check out what else Jodie put in this set.Monday, July 5, 2010
Bugaboo Anything But a Card
My project for Bugaboo Stamps this week is Anything But a Card so I chose to do a Treat Bag Cover using Bugaboo's Turtle Flower whcih can be found in the Critters/More Turtles section. I used some The Paper Studio paper, cut around the image & scalloped with Nestabilities & colored the image with my Copics. Easy-Schmeezy & if there are too many jelly beans in the bag, you must eat them!
