More Bugaboo Stamps!

This is Jodie's new line of digis, one of her Bugaboo Brats.  I adore those little kids!  This one is Isabella & although I like them all, this one kind of grabbed me & whispered 'download me please' in my ear.  So I did!  Papers are Stampin Up, the bling is Basic Grey's Opalines (I love those pearls!) & the flowers are from my stash.

Bugaboo New Release

April Showers is the theme for this sketch challenge & we could use anything that remindedus of water.  I chose Bugaboo's April Ruby.  Ruby is such a hoot... I think we all know a 'Ruby', right?  My paper is all Stampin Up & I coloured the image with Copics.  I used a glitter pen for her glasses & added some gold Stickles ( I love Stickles!) for her ear bobs & some blue Stickles for the puddle of water.  The brads & ribbon are from my stash.  I outlined the image & computer generated sentiment with the same gold gel pen I used on her glasses.  I'm a little annoyed at myself that I didn't notice the word 'Bring' was automatically done with capital letters until it was too late...
Head on over to Bugaboo's Blog & the Catch the Bug Blogspot for lots of great ideas & inspiration.

Criss-Cross Card

I finally tried my hand at doing a criss-cross card & although I didn't get my paper measurement quite right, I am pleased with the first attempt.  The image is Penny Black's Bubbly clear stamp set - gotta love those clear stamps!  I cut the circles with my Nestabilities & Cuttlebug, the butterflies were done with a Martha Stewart punch.  I bent the wings & mounted them with little bits of dimensionals & added some pearls from my stash.  All paper is from Stampin Up & the brad is from a Bo Bunny ICandy set & finally, the sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings set.

Anything But a Card

My first assignment with Bugaboo Stamps was Anything But a Card.  I made a thank you gift tag for a bottle of wine using the Nellie Snellen square die cut (those are fabulous to use); the 'Merci' is from the Inkadinkado Prairie Gardens clear stamp set & I used my Copics to colour the image.  Red stickles are in the glass of wine, gold stickles on the label & dotted around the scallops.  You can find Chef Pierre under the Miscellaneous category on the Bugaboo site.

Bugaboo Stamps Catch the Bug Challenge

This is my submission for the Bugaboo Catch the 'Bug' Challenge Blog Hop to introduce the design team to you.  You can find their names & link to their blogs on the right side of the screen.  Grab a coffee & be prepared to spend some time checking them out - there are some very talented & creative people out there.
I used the Turtle & Ladybug image for my card; Stampin Up cardstock & ran a piece of white paper through my Cuttlebug (I think that is the one thing I wouldn't want to be without!).  I coloured my digi with Copics & used some black brads & Petaloo Dazzlers for embellishments.
Now the fun, fun stuff!  The blog hop starts Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 7:00 am & ends on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 7:00 am.
You should have arrived here from Cheryl's blog & your next stop after mine is Cammy, otherwise, go to the beginning at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  You collect a letter from each blog along the way & unscramble them for a chance to win 3 free images.  The letter you are looking for in my post is H.  There are some mega prizes to be won  so have fun with it & enjoy the hop.
