Well, I had internet issues yesterday and spent all afternoon without it. What a waste of time... I finally started checking cords and cables and be darned if one wasn't loose so it was a simple fix after all. 'They' always say... make sure it's plugged in, check your connections and then re-boot so yes, when I remembered to it it, it was not a big deal after all.

I found this little gal over at Saturated Canary and had some time yesterday to build a card. I like it when a card just falls together without a lot of stressing about papers, embellies, etc and that's what happened with this one. I found a great sketch over at Sketch Saturday:

The name of this digi is Princess Who Kissed a Frog - I have bought a few of her images and must get busy and get them done up. The flowers are some I've had in the stash forever and I pulled the centers and added the pearls. The little leaves are from a new CC Designs die call Leafy Branch which I purchased from All That Scraps - this little die cuts beautifully and I was so impressed . Sometimes the fine, intricate ones are hard to use but the paper pulled away easily with this one plus their shipping was very reasonable so I will be shopping there again . The sentiment is from Stampin Up's 'So Happy For You' set and then cut with one of the Spellbinder's Labels Trio dies and the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The papers are from a Prima Sweet Fairy Collection pad and then coloured the image with Copics.

Cold, cold cold... apparently we are now paying for the wonderful unwinter-like weather we've been having for the last 2 months because what a blast of old-man winter we've had for the last couple of days! All the more reason to stay inside and make some cards!

It's been awhile since I've posted but I have been busy and do have some wildly exciting news to share with you. Denise from Whimsy Stamps asked if I would be interested in joining her magazine staff designer team as one of the two new positions which would feature digi stamps for Whimsy Stamps Inspirational Magazine. Would I? Really?.... you bet I would! So that is what I've been doing with my time... digging in and getting some projects ready for my debut (hahahha... it's like being a movie star!)

Okay, time to get to the card - this one something I'd done awhile ago for our grandson's 3rd birthday but hadn't got to posting it. He likes pirates so of course he should have a pirate card to go along with his loot and birthday treasures. I merged Mo Manning's Pirate Stuff (the palm trees) and her Captain Hugh into Make it Crafty's Treasure Map. For the front of the card, I used only the scroll portion of the map and pulled in the scene and little pirate. The complete treasure map was for the inside of the card and it was perfect because there was plenty of room on the bottom of the scroll to write his birthday wishes. The lettering was done with two colours of sparkly paper using a set of alphabet dies I have had forever. The image was coloured with Copics, the lock embellishment is Tim Holtz, the paper was from the pile I hoard and the sentiment computer generated.

Winter Fairy

Here we are, the first day in 2012 and I wish you all the best in this new year!

My first post for 2012 is a Wee Stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Winter Fairy. I adore these stamps - they are so sweet and pretty, each and every one of them. I coloured the image with Copics and added Soft Flock to the fur on her jacket and boots plus some pink Soft Flock on the earmuffs. The snow is Flower Soft and a little glamour dust is added to her wings. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Snowfall collection and snowflakes were cut with Martha Stewart punches. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Letter Seals set... I can't tell you enough how much I like their sentiments, so versatile and perfect for almost every ard!. The hearts are a Whiff of Joy die cut and the pearls are from the stash.

Catch a Star

Closer, closer, closer... Christmas is sneaking right up on me so this is probably going to be my last post until after the big day. I have a ton to do and the days are flying by.
Another Wednesday and the last challenge at the Whimsy's Inspiration Challenge Blog until the new year. For this challenge, your task is to create a project with a charm and add a sentiment. I used Lia's 'Leah Catch a Star' digi and the sentiment is from Whimsy's Magical Mini Letter Seals. I haven't had that sentiment set for very long but it is so versatile and I've used it a few times already. The checked paper is My Mind's Eye and the gold and floral is Prima. I used a Sizzix die for the star and the button and charm were found in my stash. Copics were used to colour the image and Stickles for some glam in the stars.

Scrooge!

It's Sunday and that means it's time for another challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz and this week's theme is Christmas hues of blues. This image is Kenny K's Scrooge and it just cracks me up when I look at it! The only fitting sentiment I could think of was 'Bah Humbug' and I know the perfect person for this card. In addition to winning five of Kenny K's digis, the winner will also receive a $15 voucher from Michelle's Scrapbooking and More. My term as a designer on Kenny K's Krafty Girlz team is finished and although I'm saddened by it, I've decided not continue for the same reason most of us have for doing or not doing anything... wow, life is so, so busy! I do want to extend my thanks to all the Girlz on the DT, Kenny K, Elena, Donna and Sarah Louise. It was a fab ride and I'm going to miss it but I've got to wind some things down.
Onto the card.... The papers are from a fabulous collection of Bo Bunny's called Snowfall which I purchased as a 6 X 6 pad from One Crazy Stamper. I've coloured the image with Copics and stamped around the edges with a little flourish stamp I have and some distress ink. The snowflake is cut with a Sizzix die and the brads are Basic Grey.

Trimming the Tree

Closer and closer.... Christmas is not far away and I'm still frantically making cards! Today is Wesnesday and time for another challenge at Whimsy's Inspiration Challenge Blog with the theme of Patterns and Pearls. Grab some of that patterned paper you are hoarding (that's where I got mine!) and add some pearls! I used Whimsy's Trimming the Tree digi designed by Chrissy and I do love the whimsy of those little bears she designs. The patterned paper from Bo Bunny's Father Christmas collection which I found at One Crazy Stamper - I need to get more of that because there isn't a piece of it I don't like and if I buy a couple of each, I'm not so apt to hoard it. The ribbon is one of the pieces from the November Ribbon Club collection I received from Really Reasonable Ribbon . You should see the packages Bonnie puts together... almost too pretty to open and use (there's that hoarding tendency of mine again!). The sentiment is one from Whimsy's Magical Mini Letter Seals and the Poinsettia is one of the Shape EZ templates. This was my first try at using the templates and Easy Schmeasy... I cut it out of red glitter paper and then added Stickles around the petal edges and voila... a poinsettia.

Today's card is my second and final card as December's guest designer at One Crazy Stamper. Thank you ladies for the guest designer spot - I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Gotta love this Mo Manning 'Ruby' image and it is so perfect because what little girl doesn't like to play dress-up? I love this one with those too big shoes, the necklace and handbag. I used Bazill textured cardstock again - I rarely use anything else since I discovered this paper... can't get enough of that texture! The designer paper is from a 6" x 6" SEI pad called With All My Heart and I used the same cardstock for the flourishes. The image is coloured with Copics and the sentiment is from Whimsy's A Touch of Elegance collection. The pearls are from my stash and as a final touch, I went all around the edges with Stardust Stickles. All of these products are available at Lora's One Crazy Stamper store. OCS has some of the best customer service ever, fast shipping and she always ships free if your order is over $100. For those of you who use the Xpress It blending paper, she's got the best price I've ever found in Canada. I use that paper all the time so was very happy to find a supplier with such a great price on it.

Moonlight Wishes - Lili of the Valley

Wow... I realized if I'm going to get all my holiday cards done and posted, I need to get busy because time is whizzing by. Today's card was stamped using Lili of the Valley's Moonlight Wishes stamp. I love using these stamps - I am fascinated by the whimsy of them and they stamp so crisp and clean plus very quick service. I used Bo Bunny paper from their Father Christmas collection which I purchased from Lora at One Crazy Stamper and I have to say, that grouping of paper is some of the prettiest ever. The sentiment is one from Stampin Up's Lots of Thoughts set. I've used Copics to colour the image and added Glamour Dust to the moon and pom on the hat. Then Stickles, Stickles and more Stickles! The big snowflake is from a Jolee's Boutique sticker pack I'd bought at Michaels ages ago and the big clunky gem was one I had in my stash so I glued it on and I like it... looks like it belongs there! The narrow strip is a piece from Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection and I used Copics to colour the image and sprinkled a little Glamour Dust for the snow. The sentiment is one from Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals collection and the ribbon was in my last monthly shipment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The snowflakes were cut using Whimsy's Winter Jewel 1 die and then I added some Sparklets from Kaiser Kraft.

How are you today? It seems to be getting busier and more hectic everyday and I always say that once December 1 comes around, you just are silly busy and don't know where the time goes!
What a thrill this was... I applied for a guest designer spot at One Crazy Stamper and couldn't believe my good fortune when I got the news I was December's guest designer. I shop at Lora's store and you can't beat her customer service plus she's got a great selection of product and great prices. She always ships orders over $100 free and somehow, I never seem to have a problem making that amount on an order.
This is the first of two cards I've made for the guest designer spot. This one is for the December challenge which is a Christmas or Winter theme. I've used Bazill textured cardstock and designer paper is Holly from Bo Bunny's Father Christmas collection. The image is also from OCS and is Your Next Stamp's Very Merry Wisemen. This is my first Your Next Stamp but I am going to get some more because they are wildly cute!
The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamp's Winter Letter Seals set and the buttons are also Bo Bunny's Father Christmas embellishments. I also used a little flourish stamp to lightly stamp around the edges of the circle and this just happens to be my new craze... I like the look and will probably do it many more times. The ribbon is a miscellaneous piece from my stash.

The Whimsy Challenge this week is Anything But a Card so I decided to do some Christmas tags with various digi images by Moon Cookie and digi sentiments designed by Raindrop Echo. All the images and sentiments can be found at the Whimsy Stamps store.
I don't do this quickly so I'm thinking that since 6 tags took me all afternoon, I had better buy a supply as well. I used a Go Kreate tag die, Copics to colour and added Stickles and some little pearls. The ribbon is from the last monthly kit of Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Time for another challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz and this week's theme is Stitching and it can be either faux or real. The challenge is sponsored by Kenny K and Dies to Die For and there's some great prizes up for grabs so be sure to enter your project.
I decided it was time to practice with that new sewing machine I got so mine is real stitching - wish it was perfect but I do have a little more work before I'm used to it.
I used Kenny K's Groove Dude image and coloured him with Copics. My new 'craze' is stamping around the edges of my images and I did it here as well with a small flourish stamp I have. The paper is from Basic Grey's Little Black dress pad which I purchased at One Crazy Stamper. Oh my... I love, love, love that paper and there isn't a piece in there I don't like! My card today was very easy to make because the papers are so glittery and sparkly plus the sentiment is actually from one of the papers in the Best Creations Inc Ballet Princess collection which I purchased from One Crazy Stamper. The image is Magnolia's Ballerina and the pearls from my stash. I coloured the little gal with Copics and then added Tiara Stickles around all the edges.

Wow, I cannot get over how time is flying by so quickly! Christmas will be here before we know it and although it is my favourite holiday, I am always so, so far behind!

I have managed to get a few cards done though and this is one of them. I used Chrissy's Christmas Bear digi from Whimsy Stamps and used Copics to colour him. Poloar White Flower Soft was added to his cap fur and pom and while the glue was wet, I tapped in a little Glamour Dust for some sparkle. The snowflake is Whimsy Stamps Winter Jewel 1 die and I the brad is Stampin Up. The papers are from a Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad collection called Wassail. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals and the ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For my card, I chose one of Whimsy's November new release digis called Sharing the Warmth. Now I'm not big on mice but I do think these two little guys are quite cute so as long as they are 'pretend mice', I'm ok with it.
I had originally made the card for a monochromatic challenge but decided on another and this one fits this challenge perfectly. The papers are some I've had in my stash forever - it was a big package of paper I'd bought at Walmart a long time ago and it is sort of a 'no name' brand, I guess. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals set. That collection is so versatile and I use it again and again and again! I coloured the image with Copics and the flowers were a Christmas gift last year and I simply added some matching brads to the centers.

I've used the Wedding Dance digi from Kenny K and coloured it with Copics. A Cheery Lynn die was used to cut and emboss the doily out of some sparkly paper I have. Nestabilities were used for cutting and embossing the circle and oval and then I used a Scor-Pal to emboss lines on the cardstock. I added pearls and then Glamour Dust to her dress, veil, around the sentiment and a bit on the flowers.

Zorana, A Dancing Gypsy

It has been a long time since I've posted cards other than my design team work but happily, I am caught up and have spent two wonderful days making cards. The vacuuming still needs done and I would hate for you to have a peek at my craft room (I am not one of those tidy crafters) but fun is fun!

I recently discovered Saturated Canary digis, love them and hope I can do some more soon. This one is called Zorana, A Dancing Gypsy. I used papers from DCWV's Princess Stack and coloured the image with Copics. The sentiment is Whimsy Stamp's Double Scallop Tag die and the binding is also from Whimsy. The pearl is from my stash and the sentiment is one from Verve's Beautiful You collection.

Happy New Year Harry - Whimsy Challenge

This funny fellow can be purchased at the Whimsy store and is designed by Lia Stampz. His name is Harry and it's fairly obvious that Harry is having a party. It's maybe a little early but he's doing it anyway. The sentiment is also one of Lia's and I thought it went perfectly with the image, which by the way, cracks me up every time I look at it.
The image is coloured with Copics, the papers are My Mind's Eye and the big sparkly brad is from the stash... it didn't photograph very well but it is a big one! The other embellishments are laser cut chipboard pieces from Make it Crafty and I heat embossed them black. I love those chipboard pieces because they are amazingly versatile and pretty enough without doing anything to them. Lastly, I added some gold stickles for the bubbles.

Whimsy November Digi Release

Today is the new digi release at Whimsy Stamps and all I can say is wow... there's some cute digis this month, including this one which is Stamp Art Design's Hollybelle. Make sure you head over to the Whimsy Inspiration Blog because there's a Blog Hop going on and you don't want to miss out.
I used a Marianne Creatable die cut to make the shape of this scalloped easel card and coloured the image with Copics. I tried to get a little texture in the fur so took a few drops of Copic Colourless Blender and dabbed a towel into it and then pressed down so it would lift a little colour off. I did this after colouring the fur and before colouring anything else. I like the technique and won't be quite so timid with it next time but I didn't want to ruin the image so I dabbed it down for only a couple seconds. I added a little glamour dust to give the wings some sparkle and then added some gold Stickles to the edges. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals, the paper is Memory Box Co and the brad is from the stash.

I chose to use the Reindeer digi from Kenny K's newest Christmas release and proceeded to colour those reindeer with Copics. The papers are all Basic Grey from a fab little 6 x 6 pad called Wassail. I've used that stack over and and over so will have to look around for a new one shortly. The sentiment is half a circle from a CatsLife Press stamp and the chipboard corners are from Make it Crafty. I love using their laser cut chipboard and for these, I just dabbed them in glue and used Martha Stewart glitter to jazz them up. The snowflakes were cut with a Martha Stewart punch and then gold Stickles around all the edges to finish it up.

To me, this image is just the funniest ever... I grin every single time I see it because this is what my grandkids look like when I try to sneak some kisses (I'm the one in the black hair.... haahahahahha). For my card, I decided to use the witch from Whimsy's Raindrop Echo Designs Halloween Frames and it was perfect because I get both an image and sentiment in one digi. The image is coloured with Copics and the papers are Echo Park. I used a flower punch and some scraps of black and white paper for the flowers and a Marianne Creatable die for the flourishes.

The paper is some scraps I'd saved and I don't remember who made them but I do know the brads are Basic Grey. I inked a little Burnt Umber over the jute to give it some colour and stuck it down.

Time for a new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz and this week's them is Girls and use your die cuts and punches. I merged Hockey and Hockey Girl images using Paint.net. Both are available at Kenny's store. The papers are from Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection. Nestabilities were used to cut the ovals and a combination of Nesties and punches for the little tabs and then I coloured the image with Copics. The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo's City Talk Collection at Whimsy Stamps.

I still cannot figure out how it seems straight when I put it together and then sometime between then and when I take my picture, the card gremlins come along and move everything around so it is crooked! I hadn't noticed my oval and the string was not straight but it is oh so obvious now!

Where does the time go? It's October already and I think I've missed September... but the good thing is that with a new month, there's another new digi release and a blog hop at Whimsy stamps and this month is no exception.

The hop starts today and runs for one week, ending on Saturday, October 08, 2011 at 12:00 noon EST.

For my card, I chose Moon Cookie Gallery's (MCG) Sparkly Tree digi and I'm loving those little trees she's created. They work up quickly and I like the whimsical style. The papers are from Basic Grey's 6x6 Wassail pad. I used gold embossing powder for Whimsy's Winter Letter Seals sentiment and the snowflake die is also from Whimsy. Everything was then outlined with gold Stickles (and I covered the brads with the Stickles as well), plus my hand caught a gob while it was still wet and I ended up with a smudge up by the star that will not come off.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz has a new challenge! The theme for the next week is 'Your All Time Favourite Kenny K Image' and the challenge is sponsored by Kenny K and Michelle's Scrapbooking & More. I'm not sure I can say this is my favourite because I like so many of them but Rock Dude is right up at the top of the list.

I don't know who makes this paper because there is no name on it but it's a perfect print. It was another of my Ebay finds and I wish I'd bought more. I coloured the image with Copics and sponged Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass around the edge for shading. All the papers are distressed and I used Tim Holtz's Black Soot for that. The sentiment was printed directly onto the cardstock and the fibers around the stars were a local scrapbook store purchase and sadly, again there is no name to refer you to.

Today's card is another of the new digis released by Whimsy Stamps for September. This one is In My Garden and is one of a set of 6 designed by Raindrop Echo Designs. Sheesh... isn't that funny how you examine something closely but it's not until you go to post it on the internet that you realize the ribbon is crooked... darn it! I'll straighten it but I must get this posted and get myself to bed soon. I used one of the Cuttlebug embossing strips for the design on the top and bottom and then took some chalks and brushed in a little colour. The butterflies were cut with a Martha Stewart punch. This card was very quick and easy... add some colour with Copics, sponge in some shading and it's done. Love those sentiments and images together! New Frog Friend - Whimsy Challenge

Whew... I simply don't know where my time is going to but it seems like I'm always busy but am always behind and this week is no exception. Today is Wednesday and that means there's a new challenge over at Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Challenges and the theme this week is 'green is the main colour'. The talented ladies have come up with some fabulous creations for you to check out. I chose one of Chrissy's September releases called New Frog Friend and I think this little fellow is so darned cute. I used paper from My Mind's Eye and some woven jute that I ran over a brown ink pad for colour; then coloured the image with Copics and sponged in the sky with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass. The dragonflies are Make it Crafty Chipboard - I love that chipboard... you just tap it into an ink pad and voila! The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Circle Postmark Sentiments.

I have to tell you about a fab little parcel arrived today and am chompin at the bit to try them... from Whimsy Stamps I received the Bottle Cap die, Bottle Cap Sentiments, Film Marker die and Film Marker Sentiments. I know I am on the Whimsy DT and you would expect to hear something like this from me but honestly, I've been using Whimsy dies and sentiments for ages and I love them. The stamps give crisp, clear and perfect images and I use a Cuttlebug for the dies and never have any trouble.

Time for another challenge at Stamps R Us which is sponsored by Karber Digital Images. So, for the next two weeks your mission is to complete a project/s which have a 'friendship' theme. This little gal is Leslie Thinker. I used one of my favourite colours which in case you haven't guessed by now, is purple, purple, purple! I used Copics to colour Leslie and the sentiment is from a fab set I got from Lili of the Valley called Set 10 A5 Verses (this is a wonderful assortment of sentiments and I use them a lot). The paper is SEI (my new fave) and the little hearts and the 'hugs & kisses' sentiment were cut from a Cuttlebug die which I have had forever. It doesn't show up so well but I filled in her glasses lens with Glossy accents. Then sadly, I had a couple little glue bombs happen where that darned glue pen seemed to have wings. Can't get it off... if you try it with a little spit, off comes the paper.. dang it! So I guess that's why they make pearls, right? These perfect purple pearls arrived in a DT package from Kenny K not more than a week before the glue had it's own brain and they disguised some of the boo-boos perfectly. Plus, I actually like the card better with them than without.

There's a new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girls plus he is showcasing his second Steampunk release. The theme this week is Victorian Grunge and is sponsored by Kenny K and Bearly Mine. Now to be perfectly honest with you, I really wasn't sure what Victorian Grunge is and don't know if I got it right but when I was scooting around the internet, it seemed to me these papers, sprockets and clock would work. This gal is called Brianna Blaster and I like it! Copics were used for all the colouring except I added some glitter for all the buttons and some lines on her skirt with a gold glitter pen. The brown paper is Bo Bunny and the dark accent pieces are Graphic 45. I love those gears/sprockets with the jewels in them... I found them on Ebay and they are 7 Gypsies. I've seen lots of the plain ones but liked the gem in these. The clock and hands are Tim Holtz hardware and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Film Strip Sentiments set.

Whimsy Stamps has the new September digis released now! This is Dainty Cottage designed by Moon Cookie Gallery and there is a whole series of these cute little cottages which are fab as backgrounds or by themselves. I made this card for some friends who have just built themselves a new house so these images came at just the right time.

The image is coloured with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from a 6 x 6 K&Company pad called Julianne and I love every single piece of paper in that stack. The brads are Basic Grey.

I'd Follow You Anywhere is the name of this Whimsy Stamp designed by Chrissy. I love those little bears and penguins she does and this one is no exception. What is super exciting for me is that my card was published in the 2nd issue of Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine (hehehe... page 88!). It is such an honour to be included in the magazine because it is jam packed with tutorials, interviews information and inspiration so be sure to check it out. Grab a really big cup of coffee while you are at it because it is such a good read. Then, go grab another big cup of coffee and check out the 1st issue - you will not be disappointed! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used Copics to colour it. I see I could have been more careful sponging my blue shading in around the bear but it's very hard to not overlap.... I know, I could do the masking thing but I am lazy and did not. The paper is from a Basic Grey 6" x 6" paper pad called the Wassail collection. The sentiment is one from the Winter Letter Seals set and the snowflakes are cut from glitter paper with Whimsy's Winter Jewel snowflake die. The brads are another Ebay purchase and they are Vintage Brads by Creative Charms.

Today's card is using the Moon Cookie Gallery image called Row of Flowers which is part of the August release from Whimsy Stamps. The paper is from my stash and so sorry but I have no idea who made it. The black rhinestones are also from my stash and those were an Ebay purchase awhile back and the ribbon is a roll I purchased at Michael's. I coloured the image with Copics and then cut out the Whimsy Birthday Letter Seals sentiment with a Stampin Up Label punch. Honestly, I am such a huge fan of all of the Whimsy sentiments because they are so versatile and stamp perfectly every time. I'm not known for my organizational skills but I keep all my Whimsy stamps in a basket so I can grab whatever I need quickly and I use them over and over and over!

Whimsy's Anything Goes with a Sentiment

Hi Everyone!

It's Wednesday again so that means it's time for a new challenge at Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Challenge and this week's theme is Anything Goes with a Sentiment!

For my card, I chose to use three images from the Garden Flowers set designed by Natalie from Moon Cookie Gallery and a sentiment from Spring Letter Seals from the Raindrop Echo Designs collection, all of which can be purchased at the Whimsy Stamps Store.

I coloured up three of the flowers from the set with Copics, cut them out and glued them to some stars I'd cut with a Sizzix die. The background paper is from Making Memories. I don't remember where I got the cream coloured twist but the brown strip of ribbon came from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Bizzy Bec has a new collection to add to her Butterfly Stamps and are they ever cute! Holly on Bauble is one of the six new digis in her Christmas Collection and available in her store now. I've paired the image up with Whimsy Stamps Winter Letter Seals which are also available in her store for purchase.

I used Copics to colour the image and added Diamond Stickles on the fur on her cap and outfit. It doesn't show up very well, but after the bauble was coloured, I add glossy accents to give it some dimension, texture and shine. The greenery was cut with a Martha Stewart oak leaf punch and the flowers are called Bow Blossoms and made by Imaginisce.

Cherry Pip - Stamps R Us Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Stamps R Us and the theme for the next two weeks is Anything Goes and what can be easier than that?

This is Cherry Pip and I found her over at Sugar Nellie and there's a couple other little gals in this collection I wouldn't mind having. They have amazing service - those stamps arrived so quickly from overseas that I wasn't even expecting them yet and they are excellent... crisp, clean images every time. The sentiment is from a wonderful little set called Set 10 A5 Verses which I got from Lili of the Valley (another company with wonderful quick service). I coloured this little dolly with Copics and used cutouts made with the Whiff of Joy heart die. The papers are Pink Paislee... I love those papers! It was a 6 x 6 pad I'd purchased awhile back and I like the delicate, vintage look of them so much! All of the ovals were cut with Nestabilities and the pearls are from my stash.

This week's challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz is 'Layers' and is sponsored by Crafty Ribbons. This little spicy little gal is Kitty Katastrophe and can be purchased at Kenny K's store. For my card, I used My Mind's Eye papers and some jewelled brads I had in my stash. The woven ribbon is also from the stash but the beige colour wasn't cutting it with all the black and white paper so I ran my black ink pad over it to add a bit of colour and I like it much better. Copic markers were used to colour the image and I sponged a little blue ink around Kitty. The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Film Strip Sentiments and Film Strip Die. That little sentiment took me forever... I tried several different things using clear vellum because when stamped, it looks just like film but no matter what I tried and how badly I wanted it to work, it just wasn't happening because the clear film just blended in with the black and white paper.

Simon Says Stamp is hosting summer holiday children's challenge and the theme is Anything Goes. To be eligible to participate, all entrants MUST be aged between 2 and 16 and the challenge closes on Monday 29th August at 6pm CET ( 5pm UK time). Now, not for a moment am I suggesting I am between the ages of 2 and 16... no, this is an entry for my 3 year old granddaughter who adores cutting, gluing, stamping and anything to do with sparkles! She did have help from her Mom with the scalloped cardstock but the stamping and glitter is all her idea and creativity.

I think this challenge is such a fabulous idea and I love it that they have a challenge just for the kids... children love to craft so thank you to the folks at Simon Says Stamp.

For my card, I used the Kenny K Alice in Chains stamp from Whimsy and used Copics to do all the colouring. The sentiment is from Ann Vento's Cityscape collection. After colouring it, I placed the Make It Crafty Urban Street Collection brick scene behind a piece of Stampin Up designer paper, distressed the edges and added some walnut stain. I stamped the image, cut her out and stuck her down! The chipboard embellishments are also from Make it Crafty.

Ribbons and Bows is the theme of the first challenge at Whimsy's Inspiration Challenge Blog. The only requirement to submit your project is to use ribbon and at least one bow on your card - you don't have to use a Whimsy image but it would be great if you did.

I used Chrissy's new August release Forget Me Not digi image for my card and coloured it with Copics. The oval frame around the image is cut using a Nellie Snellen die and the papers are K & Company. The sentiments are from Whimsy's Mini Postage Stamp Sentiments and the brad is from my stash. The chocolate seam binding ribbon is also available at Whimsy - love that stuff... it folds, crumples, whatever you want and finally, I added some Copper Stickles to the oval.

Diesel Dawg - Kenny K Challenge

Yikes.... I would hate to see this fellow and his bulldog racing towards me - don't think I could run fast enough or far enough! This is Diesel Dawg and not much more needs to be said except that it can be purchased at Kenny K's.

The background paper is from Stampin Up and the dotted paper is from a large pad of My Mind's Eye. The circles were cut with Nestabilities and then I used the smallest die from my Nellie Snellen Star Wreath set and glued the star down onto the circle. This card took me forever... I messed around with different embellishments and nothing seemed right until it finally clicked... I was using a piece of DP that was all wrong and when I finally chose something else, it fell into place for me and I was much happier with the piece. I coloured the image with Copic markers and the sentiment is from Whimsy's Vintage Transportation set.

Dawn with Flowers - Bizzy Bec's August Challenge

The August challenge at Bizzy Bec's is a spin of her Blue Butterfly line of stamps so the task is to create a card or project using the colour blue and it is to include a butterfly. In her store, Bizzy Bec is now carrying Nellie Snellen dies and stamps and I've chose to use Nellie Snellen's Dawn with Flowers. The half-star border around the image is the Nellie Snellen Star Wreath die. The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps Circle Postmark Sentiments, also available at Bec's.

I coloured the image with Copics and was surprised - it's not a large stamp but there is a lot of detail and colouring involved. The little flowers are cut with a Sizzlit die and the dragonfly is one of Magnolia's Doohickey dies which I also purchased from Bizzy Bec's. This is Back to School Bart and that little dragon just makes me smile. I made the card with a special little boy in mind to celebrate his first day of kindergarten this fall. Since this is such a momentous occasion, I think there may also be a few $$$$ added in with the card to sweeten the deal. I coloured the image with Copics and distressed all the edges. The stars are a Sizzix die with the cut centers out and the papers are Bo Bunny and the brads are Basic Grey.

I have a couple more of the Butterfly Sweetheart images available at Bizzy Bec's. There are six images in this collection and this one is Tiger Lily. I can't tell you who makes the papers.. they are from my stash and have been there forever. I coloured the image with Copics and used Glamour Dust to sparkle up her wings. The sentiment is a stamp from Whimsy's Party Mini Seals from Bizzy Bec's store. I don't see them in stock right now but if you contact Bec, she can order them in. Those are terrific stamps... deep cut red rubber that give such a nice clean image every time. The little champagne pearls are also from Bec's store.

Cherry Blossom is also coloured with Copics and more Glamour Dust for her wings. Love the Glamour Dust... it lets your colour show through and adds just the right amount of glittery sparkle. I got a little carried away with the clouds... if one is good, then a hundred must be better, right? This is what happens when you leave them until the last step on your card... it's too late to change them so you have to fly with it! I don't know who makes the brown paper but the lighter one is Whimsy's Vintage Postcard stamped with brown ink onto vanilla coloured cardstock. The stamps and pearls are available at Bizzy Bec's.

Kenny K - Pocket Card Challenge

The new challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz is to make a pocket card and is sponsored by Kenny K himself. As one of the new DT members, this is my first challenge at Krafty Girlz and here's I came up with. I used the Bench Couple image which I think is hilarious... I can just about hear this love-struck fellow saying 'arrrooogah, arrooogah!' I coloured it with Copics and used SEI patterned paper. Those fab little hearts were cut with the latest and greatest die I've received which is Whiff of Joy's 'Cute Hearts'. The sentiments on both the outside and inside are Whimsy Stamp's 'Love Letter Seals'. Housework Fairy

Don't we all wish we had a housework fairy? Just a whiff and a poof and all of it would be done! I'm not so lucky... the closest I get is the new Swiffer duster I bought the other day but it just doesn't move by itself so apparently I need to be on the other end of it for it to work!

Anyway, as soon as I saw Mo Manning's Housework Fairy, I had to have her... the expression on her face makes me smile every time I look at her.

I used Copics to colour and then added my new favourite sparkly Glamour Dust... no pun intended! The sentiment is computer generated and the little flowers were made with a Sizzlit die. The paper is one of the Basic Grey's Marjolaine collection.

Camelia & Carnation - Butterfly Sweethearts

Well, sadly the weekend is over and it's back to work tomorrow morning. How is it that on Friday the weekend stretches out before you and it seems like it's going to be a long time until Monday... then all of a sudden it's Sunday afternoon?
I have a couple cards today because I am a bit behind on my postings. Both images are from Bizzy Bec's Butterfly Sweetheart collection. These 6 gals in the set are so pretty... all of them having wings you can glitter, stickle or colour. The first one is Camelia and I've used Copics to colour her and then added Glamour Dust to the wings for some sparkle. The paper is K & Co and the pearls are from Bec's store.
The second is Carnation and as per my favourite colouring medium, I used Copics. Then a little of my new craze which is Glamour Dust... a little sprinkle on the wings and crown. The image is set in Nestabilities Labels 10 which you can find at Bec's store as well. The paper is Basic Grey and the ribbon is from one of the monthly kits from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Seems like forever since I've been here and I'm a bit of a slacker about getting some posting done. Today's card is one I've had done for awhile now... it is from Whimsy Stamps June release and is MelJen's Kitty Butts (that name just kills me... silly, I know because cats do have butts but I just get such a kick out of this image). I coloured the image with Copics and it was quick, quick, quick.. then a couple little swipes of Stickles. Icut the stars with Nesties and the sentiment is computer generated. November Chrysanthemum

It's time for another challenge at Stamps R Us and for the next two weeks the theme is Through the Garden Gate and is sponsored by Heartsong Designs. For my card, I chose the November Chrysanthemum digi and kept it fairly simple. I coloured the flower spray with Copics and then sponged/rubbed in Tim Holt's Spun Sugar Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Warmest Regards set. The embossed flowers along the side were done with some little Cuttlebug embossing strips I've had forever and I don't even know the name of them anymore. I tried something different this time... no bright pin or fuschia coloured pearls so I thought I'd try to colour them with Copics. I've read that you can do this - it really does work and you can match your pearls with your paper or image perfectly.

Today's card is another of Whimsy Stamps fab July release. This design is Chrissy's and is called Noah's Ark. I used Copics to colour the image and then added some Glamour Dust to the water. Glamour Dust is my newest craze... I love the look of it and like to use it on water, fairy wings, butterflies... oh heck, it adds just the right amount of sparkle to anything you put it on. The paper is from a DCWV paper pad called Nana's Nursery. Then a few loops from twin and a button were added. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamp's Spring Letter Seals - I use the Whimsy sentiments a lot... I used them constantly before I was on the design team and I continue to use them over and over because they are so versatile. Strong Man

I always find it a challenge to come up with a guy card but I think Mo Manning's Strong Man image fit the bill so I've done up a birthday card for my favourite son-in-law (I can say this because he's the only one I have but he'd be right up at the top of my list if I had more).
I have to smile every time I see this guy... wowsa... all those muscles! I could not think of or find a sentiment to go with this so I finally did one on the compyuter. He's been coloured with Copics, the brads and clips are Tim Holtz and I just don't remember where I found the paper... it could be My Mind's Eye but I am just not sure.

The image is Soho, which is a Kenny K stamp I won on a Whimsy Stamps blog hop awhile back. The paper is My Mind's Eye and the little stars and the Nestabilities are from Bec's store. Today's card is made with a Whimsy Stamps digi from designed by Meljen and is very aptly named Bear Butt. Both the small postmarks and the larger stamp are from the Everyday Mini Postage Stamp set. The paper is Basic Grey and both it and the brads are from the Marjolaine collection. I coloured the image with Copics and then sponged the clouds in with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Not sure I really like the Walnut Distress Ink sponging around the bear.... it seemed to get a bit 'smudgy', especially in the clouds.

Today is Canada Day and it is also marks the July release of some new digi stamps at Whimsy Stamps. Our challenge for the next two weeks at Stamps R Us is "there once was a little girl..." and we are being sponsored by the fabulous A Day for Daisies. It was hard to pick but I finally chose the Cinderella image from the May 2011 release. The whole collection is cute, cute, cute... as are all her images and I can see I will be doing some shopping over there.

The image is coloured with Copics and I've used K & Company papers from their Watercolor Bouquet collection. The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Humor in High Heels set and the I used Tiara Stickles to go around the edges.

I've been fooling around trying to figure out how to merge digi files and although this is my first attempt, I'm quite happy with the result. The images are Make it Crafty and I think they are so very cute! The mermaid is called Siren of Pearls and I sat her on the Clam Shell. The images are coloured with Copics and then Icovered her fins and the shell with Diamond Stickles. The sentiment is from Whimsy's Birthday Letter Seals which I stamped onto white paper and then cut both it and another pink one using Whimsy's Double Scallop Tag Die (love the shape of this die). The flowers were cut using a Joy Crafts Flower die and the leaves with Martha Stewart's Oak Leaf Punch. I added some pearls for the flower centrers and some dew drops around the image, thinking they would look like bubbles.

Today's Whimsy Stamps DT card is made with one of new June digi releases called Raggedy Girl - Adorably Yours by Kathryne of Stamp Art Design and she's such a Cutie Patootie. I coloured her with Copics after cutting out the shape with my Nestabilities Labels Ten. The sentiment is from the Whimsy Birthday Letter Seals set and the flowers were cut with a Joy Crafts flower die I have. The paper is called Basic Grey Pyrus.

Ginger Beer and Sexy Jessica - Bizzy Becs Pin Up Girls

Two more cards using Bizzy Bec's digi Pin Up Girls Collection. This image is Ginger Beer and makes a perfect 'guy card' for so many reasons... a scampy, scantily clad pretty girl and beer... and not necessarily in that order! The paper is Basic Grey's 6x6 pad called the Curio Collection and I've used the Spellbinders Labels Ten for the image. The stars and frame around the sentiment were cut with Nellie Snellen dies. The sentiment is Whimsy Starmps Party Mini Letter Seals which I won from the May blog hop . I coloured the image with Copics, then added some gold stickles for the beer sparkles and covered the whole glass with Glossy Accents. The foam was created using a Marvy Uchida Snow Marker pen I'd bought awhile ago. Bought that pen for no other reason than that I didn't have one and was very skeptical about it working but holy cow... when you add heat, you should see that stuff puff up. Very, very cool medium.

This card uses the Sexy Jessica image which I've also coloured with Copics. The paper is My Mind's Eye, the scallop die is a Nellie Snellen and the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Birthday Letter Seals. The brads and ribbon are from my stash. I have to say, these pin up girls make fabulous adult masculine cards... I always struggle with those but these fit the bill perfectly.

The challenge for the next two weeks at Stamps R Us is sponsored by Digital Delights and is a recipe challenge. You need to use two designer papers, three embellishments and one image. The image I chose to use is called Happy Dance Nesbitt. The papers I used were all Basic Grey from the Marjolaine collection. The sentiment is Stampin Up's Happy Everything - such a versatile set, I've used it many, many times. The fabric buttons were another Ebay purchase but they are also Basic Grey and from the Marjolaine Collection as well. The stars were cut with Nestabilities, as was the ovals. After colouring the image with Copics, I added a little Glamour Dust to the stars and sponged some shading with Tim Holtz's Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I have two cards to post today from Bizzy Bec's digi Pinup Girls Collection. I don't normally post two cards but with the computer woes I've been having, I am way behind on getting my DT cards up, so here you are, the first is Cogwheel Wendy. The papers are from a 6x6 pad Basic Grey's Curio Collection . I used my Nestabilities Labels Two to cut around the image which is coloured with Copics. The cogs and sprockets are Tim Holtz and the little screw brads are from my stash - I always say 'stash'... that's just another term for 'I don't remember where I got them from'! The sentiment is computer generated.

The next card is Maid Lucy who is also from Bizzy Bec's Pinup Girl Collection. The paper is K & Company and I used Copics to do the colouring. The doily is cut with a Cherry Lynn die which I got from Bec's Store. Those dies are fabulous... so intricate and they cut perfectly. Sometimes I have difficuty finding just the right sentiment for a card but I thought this computer generated Zsa Zsa Gabor quote was just right.

Winnefred Whale

It seems like forever since I've posted but I finally have internet again. It's a bit of a jumble because I am switching back and forth between two computers but at least it is working. Today's card is from Whimsy Stamps latest digi release and this one is Winnefred Whale from Chrissy's digis, as is that perfectly matched sentiment. The striped paper is from Paperloft and the smaller background piece is from a 6x6 pad called the Timepiece Collection by Bo Bunny. I coloured the image with Copics and used a white pen for the water ripples. I was quite happy with the clouds - I made a simple little template and although it isn't too complicated or detailed, I'm happy with them. The sparkle on Winnefred is Glamour Dust by DecoArt... man, I love that stuff! The buttons were a fab Ebay purchase... 1/2 pound of buttons and there's such a great selection that I think I'm going to have to have more!

Tilda with Hawaii Flower - Bizzy Bec's June Challenge

Hi All,

This is going to be a short post - I am having some major internet issues and have to do a quick post while at work so I cannot take too much time.

The June Challenge at Bizzy Bec's is all about lace... use lace anyway/anywhere on your project.

I used the Tilda with Hawaii Flower... love that little gal, she's one of my favourite images. I used Copics to colour her, punched out the flowers with some EK Success flower punches and then added Stickles to her dress, the edges of all the paper, the butterflies and the flower in her hair. Polar Club Melt - Whimsy Digi Stamps

I have some wildly exciting news and have been busting at the seams with it for a couple weeks now - Whimsy Stamps was having a design team call for their digi stamps, I applied and was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the 11 new Digi DT members. Wooohoooooo!

Whimsy is having a blog hop to showcase the new digi releases, which begins today and it ends on Wednesday June 12, 2011 at 12 Noon EST. You'll get to view the new digis plus be able to meet some of the newest members of the DT.

For my card, I used KKD's Polar Cub Melt. I absolutely love this image of baby snuggling up to mama... it's so soothing and 'feel-good'. I used paper from a 6x6 pad of K & Company; the brads and decorative circle are Tim Holtz and the image is coloured with Copics. The sentiment is one from Whimsy's Love Letter Seals. Below is a close up which shows a little more detail.

Little Sheep - KnK

The challenge at Stamps R Us for the next two weeks has the theme Pets R Us and we are being sponsored by K 'n K Designs. The image I'm using is called Little Sheep. I've coloured it with Copics and the sheep's wool is created using a pen of 'liquid snow'. I've had that pen for several months now & was a little skeptical how it would work, not quite believing that a gob of liquid would puff up like it did... but it does & it's very cool stuff to use. I made the little flowers with a couple different EK Success punches I have and the sentiment cut-out is the small Nellie Snellen oval die. Papers are DCWV from a pad called Nursery Paper. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Time Flies.

Burlesque Bessie - Pinup Girls

Bizzy Bec's Online Store has some new digis and this one is called Burlesque Bessie from her newest line called Pinup Girls. There's 5 gals in this series and they are perfect for those challenging man cards. Be sure to head on over to Bec's Challenge Blog to see some of the fab creations rest of the design team have come up with.
I found a small pad (8 x 8) of Graphics 45 paper and I love that stuff... and need to get more! So typical of me, I use two pieces of paper and then I need more, more, more! The flowers are also Graphics 45 and that was a wise purchase for me because I really don't have any papers or embellishments to match with it except black. The little bit of fringe is a roll of fibres I bought recently - looked for feathers but couldn't find any but I don't mind this. I coloured the image with Copics, sponged Tim Holtz Antique Linen around the outside to shade and anchor it. Then I went 'into the zone'... I was in my element with Stickles on everything! Black on the hat and shoes, red on her outfit, startdust on the gloves & stockings and finally a bit of yellow for the spotlight.

This image is called Dancers and is by Impression Obsession. It makes me laugh everytime I see it & what is so fun about it is that I know some ladies just like this. The paper is Stampin Up, the brad is from my stash & I've coloured the image with Copics. I added a little glitter to the tutus for some sparkly pizazz. The sentiment is computer generated but can be purchased in rubber as well.

The challenge for the next two week's at Stamps R Us is Going Digital & our sponsor is Di's Digi Downloads. Oh my... she has some very cute & sweet digis over there so go take a peek. It was hard to choose but I opted for Tiger Butterfly & coloured the cute little thing with Copics. I always wondered why I bought that piece of Anna Griffin animal print paper but this was a perfect time to use it! I cut the hearts with a Cuttlebug die I have & I used Decoart Glamour Dust on the butterfly. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Spring Letter Seals set.

This image is from A Day for Daisies & is called Mom's Scarf. I've had it coloured for ages & finally got it put together for a card which is a sketch from A Day for Daisies Challenge Blog. I coloured the image with Copics & used my Magnolia Doohickey Die for the flower. The ribbon is Stampin Up, the brads Basic Grey & the paper is a piece from Creative Imaginations. I love those two sided papers because they take all the work out of selecting a couple papers. The inside stamp is from Lili of the Valley's Set 10 called A-5 Verses.

Today's card uses a fabulous image I found at Bugaboo stamps & I couldn't wait to get it finished. It is called Hand in Hand & you can find it at Jodie's store.

I coloured the image with Copics used the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch for the flowers. The paper is from DCWV's Nana's Nursery pad. Both the outside & inner sentiments are computer generated & the pearls are from my stash. I couldn't believe my good fortune when I found the baby feet charm in that stash... I don't remember buying it but it is just perfect for this card.

Today's card is from Bizzy Bec's Daisy line of digital stamps. This image is alled Daisy Drinking a Cocktail so & is one of the four Daisy stamps which can be purchased at Bizzy Bec's Online Store. The image is coloured with Copics, the sentiment is Stampin Up's Lots of Thoughts, the scallops were cut with a Martha Stewart punch, the half pearls are also from Bizzy Bec's. Bizy Bec's May Challenge

Bizzy Bec's May challenge is Create a Tag. I used Tim Holtz Bigz die to cut my tag - I have never been sorry I spent the money on that. It seemed pricey at the time but I've used it many, many times & each time I was glad I'd bought it. I stamped Magnolia's 'Tilda With a Small Gift' onto the white cardstock tag & then covered it with a scrap paper because I wanted the shape but lots of white around the image. Then I stamped with Stampin Up's Crosshatched background stamp. The corner stamp is also Magnolia & is 'Loving Border' (such a cute stamp). The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley's Set 10 - A5 Verses. Tim Holtz distress ink was sponged/rubbed into the background - I used a shade of pink, green & the 'old paper' colours & then darkened the edges with Walnut.
For the back of the tag, I thought I would make it into a gift card holder & stamped & sponged exactly the same way, then glued the holder down. The sentiment is also Lili of the Valley & this tie from the Dreamy Days set & finally, Tilda was coloured with Copics.

Bunch - Fizzy Moon

Here's another Fizzy Moon stamp I bought & this one is called Bunch. If you haven't seen them before, they are clear stamps & each set comes with a couple sentiments & some accessories... like this one has three differeent little flower stamps plus two sentiments, one of which is on the bottom of the card.
The image was coloured with Copics & I cut the circles with Nestabilities. The flower is cut from blue cardstock with the Magnolia flower Doohickey & I aded Stickles; the lace. Doohickey die & pearls came from Bizzy Bec's & the paper is My Mind's Eye.

The theme for Stamps R Us Challenge for the next two weeks is Men in our Lives &/or Masculine. Dude Time Doodles is the sponsor & this image is Pete the Plumber. Let me tell you, the design team had fun with this one... it just 'cracked' us all up! Anyway, it was good fun so be sure to check out the rest of the team's cards... they are fab 'man cards' & the images at Dude Time Doodles are perfect for guy cards.

The sentiment is computer generated & the brads & twine are from the stash. I 'just happened' (I guess I fibbed a bit when I said I was going to use my stash first) to buy a new pad of paper last time I went shopping & it is a huge pad of 180 sheets called Complete Boy by My Mind's Eye. The colouring was done with Copics.

I was finally able to get my sweaty little hands on some of those cute Fizzy Moon stamps. This one is called Love. They seem to be hard to find in Canada & the US & so I bought them from a seller on Ebay. The paper is Basic Grey & the big silver brad is Stampin Up (that is just the greatest container of brads I've ever purchased!); the postage stamp is from Whimsy Stamps (gotta love those too... some of my favourites) & the pearls are from my stash. I coloured the image with Copics & just now when I'm looking at it, I see I forgot to sponge in some shading around the bear. Ah well... I always say perfection sets a precedence & that's not something I'm ever going to be known for.

The ribbon is out of a monthly packet from Really Reasonable Ribbon (I love getting those in the mail), the stars are from Bizzy Bec's & the paper is TCP Studio Girlfriend Phrases. Today's card is for the Stamps R Us Challenge which is sponsored by Doodle Pantry & the theme is Bugs & Embossing . I decided to go with the Happy Buzzer image & used a computer generated sentiment. I embossed the yellow with my Cuttlebug & a folder by Crafts-Too. The pattern of the folder is hard to see on this picture but it is of butterflies & very cute. I used Copics to colour the image & added Stickles to the wings. The brads, papers & ribbon are all from my stash.

There's a great challenge going on at Simon Says Stamp with an Anything Goes theme & it is just for children. I think this is a super challenge to get the young ones crafting, see their talents showcased & I'd like to pass along a huge bouquet & thank you to Simon Says for hosting it.
My kids are grown & gone but I have three fabulous grandchildren & those little people are just the best. This entry is my grandaughter Abi's - she's two & loves to sit & colour, cut, glue & in case you hadn't noticed, her favourite embellishment is flowers. She's done up four cards & all use Pink Petticoat images. Mom helped get the paper straight but the rest is Abi's handiwork & she is going to be thrilled to see her cards on the 'puter'.

Today's card is from Bizzy Bec's Daisy line of digi stamps & this one is called Daisy Laying in the Field. For my card, I used one the freebie designer papers posted by Bec. The sentiment is from Set 6 of Lili of the Valley called Dreamy Days Sentiments. A Nellie Snellen die cut (MFD 0018) was used for the sentiment border & I coloured the image with Copics.
