For my card, I used the gorgeous Honey Bee mix which naturally reminded me of BEES!  I've had this great stamp from Close to My Heart called Bumble Bee for ages and it was un-inked until I saw this pretty mix of sequins.
I immediately knew a shaker card was in order and the card actually whipped up very quickly.  The photo isn't so great because the bee looks so orange-ish when in fact it's a softer yellow.  The flowers are CC Designs 3 point flowers and the very inner floral center is actually little flowers from the sequin mix.  For once, I had one of those pieces of paper that was perfect for a design.  You know, one of those things you see on other people's cards and wonder what on earth possessed them to buy it at the time and how great is it that they have it now? Well, it finally happened to me... this honeycomb paper with the big bee on it has been in the drawer for ages and every time I see it, I wonder why I bought it.  Now I know!

Michelle has created one new stamp set and three sequin mixes plus she will be giving away one prize a $15.00 gift certificate to the Kennedy Grace Shop to  one lucky winner.

I am glad that I am not the only one whose camera does strange things with the color. I try every adjustment I can think of and still...it is never spot on. LOL! It is a fun card anyway. I have not made a shaker in years. I must give it a go again!

First your NBUS Christmas penguins came to life (LOVED that card!) and now your fabulous bee!! Well done, Marilyn! And I'm so happy you had one of those "Whoa, look at that!" moments where you found a piece of pp that was also patiently waiting for just the right moment! It's times like this where (even if people look at me cock-eyed) I like to say "the card made itself!" Either that or maybe you have a little hamster up in your head, too!! Please leave me out of the draw as I've already stocked up on lots of those pretty KG sequins!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
