Shaker Card - Kennedy Grace Creations

I am so pleased to have been asked to join the Kennedy Grace Creations design team and I do have to say, the sequin mixes Michelle has created are such gorgeous, lush, and pretty combinations.  As soon as I saw the package, I knew it was calling for a shaker card.  What I really like about these mixes is that they are so fine and you are able to use a single layer of foam backing as a spacer so you reduce the bulkiness of most shaker cards.
For today's card, I chose to use the Iced Berries mix which is so pretty - little hearts, clear and turquouise seed beads and four different colours and two sizes of sequins.  You can't really see them in the photo but I did glue some of the seed beads to the flower sprays.  To see all these gorgeous mixes, head on over to the Kennedy Grace Creations shop.
The card was quick and easy to make.  This is a smaller than average shaker area but I thought the blue mix would be great for the water colour.  The flower vase is a freebie digital image from Tiddlyinks and the sentiment was added with the LD Shelly Print font.   Once I had these printed, it was an easy task to cut out the vase, layer the acetate and foam, add the sequins and glue the backing down.
The colouring was done with Copics and took a whopping 5 minutes and after adding some stickles, the CAS card is complete.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!

Marilyn, this is the most sensational CASlicious shaker card I've ever seen! I love everything about it! In fact, sigh, I've just place a rather large (slap!) order for sequins thanks to you! Congratulations on the Design Team appointment! I hope you also get a commission, lol! Thank you for this wonderful inspiration and for playing in my NBUS Challenge #6 three times!! I love your other two cards, too!! Hugs, Darnell
