It's a new month so it is time for a new challenge at Bizzy Becs and this month, Sue's chosen theme is spots and stripes. This is Rose and her cat Felix, from Whimsy's Wee Stamps collection. The image was coloured with Copics and then I shaded by rubbing in some of Tim Holtz's distress ink but I did add a bit too much. The papers are from First Edition and the sentiment is from Whimsy's Celebration Circle Pennants and cut with the Circle Pennants die. Give Bec a shout if these aren't in the store right now because I know she'll order them in. The dotted ribbon is from a monthly kit I received from Really Reasonable Ribbon... those packets are so pretty that you almost hate to open them up.
I added some Liquid Pearls to the flower centers and sprinkled a bit of Diamond dust around the image. The little charm had been in my stash for a long time and I just don't remember where Igot it.
Make sure you zip on over to the Challenge Blog at Bizzy Bec's to see what the rest of the design team has created and then head on over to Bec's store for some shopping!
