Halo Tilda

This little gal is Magnolia's Halo Tilda stamp which I have had for ages and am just now getting around to adding some ink to it.   I thought this was just the cutest little angel when I saw it so of course, 'see it, want it, buy it' kicked in and now it's mine!  The papers are from a 6 x 6 pad of Creative Imaginations paper named the Simply Neutral collection.  I used Copic markers to colour her and then rubbed in some of Tim Holtz's Old Paper distress ink for the shading.  The distressing around the edges is a little flourish stamp I have and the post mark stamp is Inkadinkado.  There isn't a name on it but the number is 96740 - I spent about 4 hours looking for this stamp.  I hadn't used it for ages but when I went to get it, I couldn't find it and then my obsessiveness kicked in and I almost tore my craft room apart looking for it.  Of course, when you can't find it, it is then known as 'my most favourite stamp ever!'.  Luckily I did find it and now I can relax.   The flourish is a Memory Box die I purchased from Bizzy Bec's.  The ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Now just as I was finished colouring her, I noticed a smudge on her face and I'll be darned if I know how it got there... but it won't come off at all and it was too late to start over.

I'm still obsessing about that smudge.. I must have had some wet ink on the card stock when I masked it to add the shading.  Of course a zoomed in close up only makes the smudge bigger... see, I am still obsessing!
Anyway, the final touch was a little bit of glamour dust to add some sparkle.

Adorable image and great shading, Marilyn. Your obsession is shared by many...(including me) I think she looks beautiful. If you hadn't mentioned the smudge I wouldn't have seen it! Just chalk it up to poor lighting when you took the picture or maybe a smudge on the camera lense. lol
