Hello World

Isn't March just whizzing by?  Seriously, I don't know where time goes but it seems like the older I get, the faster it zooms and I really don't like it much!
Today's card is another digi submission I made as part of the Whimsy Digi Team to Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Magazine Issue 7.  I am so thrilled and honoured to be part of such a great publication - I don't know how those gals do it but every issue gets better and better.
I used Paint.net to merge merged Hello World & Meadow Background.  Although far from being an expert or even very good at it, I love merging images so really should make the time to practice it more.  I decided to make this into a tag gift card and this time I actually remembered to write down the Copic colours.   Copic For the Dragon, I used YG 63, YG61, YG91, YG00; the Egg E33, E31, E50, YR31; the sky area was sponged in using a cardboard cloud template and Tim Holtz’s Tumbled Glass distress ink.  The paper is K & Company's Julianne Collection.  The big heart is from a package of Bo Bunny Etcetera Buttons - isn't that heart great?   I had found & bought that big Gem/Brad (Reflections) one time when I was in Michael's.  It was one of those things you don't know why you are buying and for a long time you wonder, 'what was I thinking, why did I buy that' and then one day... Ta-Da!  You find the perfect spot for it.  The webbing is a strip I'd purchased from a local scrapbooking store and I have no clue what the brand name is.  Lastly, that fabulous sentiment is also a Whimsy digi from the Emma Swinging Sentiments  set designed by Raindrop Echo.
When you untie the string, the card opens:
