Leap Frog - LOTV

Oh those Lili of the Valley stamps are so cute & I think these new little animals are just the sweetest!  This image is Leap Frog & it is so easy to colour & works up very quickly.  I used Copics to colour the image, then punched out flower shapes with an EK Success (Retro Flowers) punch,& the bigger flowers are with a Sizzlit die & the leaves with a Martha Stewart Oak Leaf Punch.  The ovals were cut with Nestablilities, the paper is from a pad by DCWV called The Glitter Stack.  The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley & is Set 6 Dreamy Days Sentiments.
Challenges:
Lili of the Valley - Punch It
A Spoonful of Sugar - Easter creations
Anything Goes - Make your own embellishments (the flowers)
Let's Ink it Up - use die cuts &/or punches (flowers, oval, circle for sentiment)
Gingerloft - die cuts &/or punches (flowers, oval, circle for sentiment)

Sweet Little Donkey

This week's challenge at Creative Card Crew is to make a card without using a stamp (you can use a digi) & is sponsored by MelJen's.  I've had this Sweet Little Donkey image for a very long time... it was created especially as a fundraising image.  The butterflies were cut using various Martha Stewart punches (hmmm.... I've been using a lot of butterflies lately), the ribbon & papers are from the stash & the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I used Copics to colour the image & then sponged around all the edges & the image with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar distressing ink.
This is my last posting as a member of CCC but head on over & check out what the rest of the DT is up to & check out the new members of the team.
Challenges:
Mel Jen's - use dots
Wild Orchid Crafts - Use die cuts or punches (butterflies & the scallops card for the sentiment

Pretty Petals

Celebrate Spring is the theme for Stamps R Us new challenge which is sponsored by Tiffany Doodles.  I chose the Pretty Petals image.  The papers are all from the stash & I used my Martha Stewart punch to cut the butterflies from glitter paper.  The sentiment & the post mark are from Whimsy Stamps & I used Copics to colour it.  It doesn't show up so well but both the sentiment & circle for the image were distressed with Tim Holts Walnut Stain.

The sketch is from this week's challenge at Lili of the Valley's Challenge Blog.

Cody on Scooter - Boyz Will Be Boyz

Today's card is another sneak peek of Bizzy Bec's Boyz Will Be Boyz Collection & are available in digi format in her store now.  If you scoot on over to her store blog, you can have a snoop at what the rest of the design team have come up with so far & there will be previews all month for you to check out.  While there, enter your project in the March colour challenge.
I've coloured the image with Copics.  The edges are distressed & I used Tim Holtz's Walnut Distressing Ink around the image.  It's a little darker than I wanted but I am still happy with it.  Last card, I reported I was trying to use up some of the paper I hoarde & although I'm still working on that, I was to the city a couple weekends ago & purchased 4 yummy new paper pads plus some single sheets, plus some embellishments - am looking forward to the weekend so I can use some!

March Colour Challenge

The March challenge at Bizzy Bec's Challenge Blog is a colour challenge & consists of chocolate, raspberry, mint & cream.  This is my first time ever doing a colour challenge & I like them... I was a little stressed to begin with but I think we are good to go as long as of each of the colours is included.  I have had the Chinese Tilda for quite awhile now & was never really sure what to do with her before this.  The floral paper is Basic Grey's Curio & I love that design.  I am not sure what kind the cream paper is & the image is coloured with Copics.  I couldn't wait to use the new Doohicky die I'd got from Bec's store & I'm going to use that a lot, I can tell.
Challenges:
Bugaboo Stamps - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Recipe of one image, 2 patterned papers & 3 different embellishments (ribbon, paper flower, cherry blossoms)
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes but add some glitter
