My Butterfly Friend - Once Upon a Time

Today is the final day for the Once Upon a Time previews from Bizzy Bec's & yep, you guessed it, this sweet little gal is my stamp give-away.  This image is called 'My Butterfly Friend' & she just spelled 'retro' for me which is the reason for all the flowers & peace signs.  The paper is all Stampin Up except the glitter, which is from a pad I received as a gift at Christmas.  The sentiment is one from a Lili of the Valley set which I also received for Christmas - don't you just love it when someone knows exactly what to get you... anything to do with stamping is perfect!  Be sure to enter your name on the above post for a chance to win this image & hopefully you've entered in the rest of the design team's posts as well.  As a reminder, Bec is offering a very generous give-away.  Someone will win a set of rubber stamps of all 6 images & 5 others will receive all 6 images in digi format but you have to enter for that drawing at Bec's Blog.

Bella on a Swing - Once Upon a Time

Day 5 of Bizzy Bec's  new Once Upon a Time previews is called Bella on a Swing. These images will be available for purchase in stamp & digi format on February 24.  I love these big doe-eyed girls & the images are so easy to work with.  Of course, all the fairy wings give me a chance to pull out the Stickles, which if you know anything about me... I can never get enough of Stickles!
Anyway, I coloured the image with Copics & used a Cuttlebug die cut for the flowers.  The papers are from the stash.

Teddy Cuddles - Once Upon a Time

Today is Day 4 of Bizzy Bec's Once Upon a Time Collection & the image is called Teddy Cuddles.  If this is your first visit, be sure to enter the draw for the surprise candy which is one of the stamps in this collection... obviously since mine hasn't happened yet, it is in one of the next two previews so keep checking.  In the meantime, check out the rest of the design team blogs because there is candy at various sites.  The paper, ribbon, tickets & brads are all supplies from my stash.  The die is a Nestability which along with the flowers, pearls,are all available at Bec's online store.

Roses, Roses, Roses - Once Upon a Time

Day 3's preview of Bizzy Bec's Once Upon a Time Collection is called Roses, Roses, Roses.  In case you've missed it, there is a draw at Bec's Blog - one lucky person will will rubber stamps of all 6 images in the collectionm & five others will win the complete set of digis.  Also, be sure to check the rest of the design team blogs because there is surprise candy at random spots.  It's not here today & hasn't been so far so you you it's still to come.

Strawberry Basket - Once Upon a Time

Day 2 of Bizzy Bec's Once Upon a Time collection is the Strawberry Basket image.  I used some mulberry paper I've had for ages & coloured the image with Copics.  Lastly, I added a few butterflies cut out with Martha Stewart punches.

Today's card is the first image in Bizzy Bec's new release of her Once Upon a Time Collection.  There are 6 images in this new collection & a new one will be revealed each day.  They will be available in both rubber & digi format after February 23.  Bec is also offering up a huge prize package.  One winner will receive all 6 images in rubber & then there are 5 more winners who will receive the whole collection in digi format.  There is also surprise candy being offered by the design team members so head on over to check out their blogs to see what they have created & are offering.

This week's challenge at Creative Card Crew is 'For a Loved One' & is sponsored by Robyn's Fetish.  I chose her Love Birds image & coloured it with Copics.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley (got it for Christmas!) & the paper is from a pad of Martha Stewart's.  It's great paper... perfectly matches.  The ribbon is Stampin Up & the pearls are from my stash.

Love Frogs - Stamps R Us

Today's card is for the Stamps R Us challenge sponsored by Digi Doodle  & the theme is Valentine/Love.  The image I used is called Love Frogs... what a hoot!  Those big red lips & love-sick eyes just make me laugh.  The winner of the challenge will win a $10.00 certificate to spend at Digi Doodle.
I coloured the image with Copics & the designer paper is Basic Grey.  The sentiment is from a Penny Black clear set called... what else... Toadily!

Little Dumpling & Stork

Last week I received the nicest surprise.  I'd entered my Creative Card Crew challenge card in our sponsor, Digital Delight's challenge & I was pleasantly surprised to find the card had been selected for the top 3 & with that came a guest designer spot at Digital Delight's next Delightful Challenge.  I chose Wendy's Little Dumpling & Stork image (so, so cute!) to make my card.  The image is coloured with Copics & the sentiment is computer generated.  I used a Sizzix die for the stars, coated them in Crackle Accents, antiqued them with Walnut distress ink & then used stickles around them.  The buttons, ribbon & papers were all from my stash.
