Celebrate!!

This digi image is Mo Manning's Celebrate & I love how this little girl is so full of joy!  Makes you smile just looking at it.  The layout was from a Mo Manning sketch challenge which I was too late for.  The papers are some from the pile I've been hoarding (I'm working on that!).  The glittery flowers were made with some Cuttlebug dies & then I added the pearls.  The scallop & sentiment were cut with Nestablities & the stamp is a Cat's Life Press & of course coloured with Copics.  I've entered the card in the following challenges:

This image is Whiff of Joy's Spring Joy.  I love these whimsical images & have a few of them waiting for ink.   I colored the image with copics & distress inked around all the paper edges.  The buttons are an Ebay purchase & I think they are Basic Grey.  The lace is Stampin Up & I found the neatest little paper clips at a shop in town.  The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's Magical Wishes Sentiment Collection.  I've entered this card in the following challenges:

Stamps R Us Sketch Challenge

Todays challenge at Stamps R Us Challenge Blog is to create a project using the sketch designed by Alissa at Starry Nights Studio.  I liked the sketch as soon as I saw it & it just spelled wedding/engagement to me.  The Sassy Fahionista Bella Bride digital image is by this challenge's sponsor Sassy Studio Designs.  I used Stampin Up Kraft Cardstock, paper from my stash which I darkened the edges with distress ink.  The flowers were a gift & came from Wild Orchid.  The lace is Stampin Up & I used Copics to color.  The sentiment is from a Whiff of Joy sentiment set I have.

Monster Mash

Oh yes... another Hallowe'en card!  For this one, I used one of the images from Stampin Up's Best Fiends & coloured him with Copics.  The ticket tags are Tim Holts's Stampers Anonymous #G21605.  I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of the ticket stamp... I just love how you can add your own sentiment to it.  The sentiment & bats inside the tickets & all of them for the background are from a Spooky Hallowe'en set by Stampendous.
Challenges I've entered:
Sketch Saturday #124 ends Oct 16

EEEEKKKK! Another Hallowe'en Card

All of these Hallowe'en cards is like making pies... no sense in making one pie, you may as well make 5!  For this card, I've used Penny Black's clear set called Be Very Scared.  Those are great stamps, the image is crisp & clear... fools you though because it doesn't look like there's any ink on it.
Both the spider & the mouse are from the set...  I love the whole set & am sure I will use it again & again.  I coloured the images with Copics & added glossy accents for that hairy spider's eyes.  The brads are fuzzy & a little odd but they work on this.  I've entered this card in the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges Scary Creatures ends Oct 17
Everybody-Art Challenge #112 Hallowe-en ends Oct 19
For Fun Challenges Googlie Booglie Google Eyes on your Hallowe'en project  ends Oct 19

Hallowe'en Pumpkins

Today's post is another of my Hallowe'en cards.  I used an Inkadinkado stamp #99414 - sorry, I don't know the name of it & the sentment is from Stampendous & is called... get ready... Happy Hallowe'en & is # 147.  I saw a similar card a long time ago & thought I'd give it a go if I ever got the stamp, which of course I did.  This worked up very quickly with all the shadows already in place so I coloured it with Copics & then rubbed in Distress Ink shades of black soot, antique linen, dried marigold & blended sage around the outside.  The rubbed in colour is much darker than the picture shows so it gives it that spooky, dark night look.
Challenges I've entered it in:
StampitCrazy - Hallowe'en Sketch Pumpkin - ends Oct 16   Ta...da.... I won!
Aly's Sunday Sketch Challenge ASC27 Hallowe'en.  ends Oct 23
Let's Ink it Up - Use Hallowe'en Colors - ends Oct 22  Ta..da...  I made Top 3!

Hallowe'en Witchy

Had a great day today where I got to spend it doing nothing but making Hallowe'en cards.  This one is for one of our special little people & it will include a bit of money so if Mom & Dad want to let her buy candy, they can.  Looks like this hag ate too many candies because all she has left of her teeth is that one lone chiclet sticking out of hr mouth.  The image is a Whipper Snapper stamp & the ticket is a Tim Holtz from Stampers Anonymous & then I added the sentiment from a Stampedous clear set.  That ticket stamp is so, so versatile!  The ribbon was a roll I found at Michael's & the glitter flowers were cut with Cuttlebug dies.  I just knew I needed those black Stickles (& you know how I love Stickles!) & I'd bought some purple at the same time.  Well looky here... I used them both!  Even a witch can use a little bling.
I've entered the card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Hallowe'en - Oct 20
Mark's Finest Papers - Stripes - Oct 15
Ellephantastic Anything Goes Challenge 15 - Oct 15

Kitchen Tilda

Life has been very hectic this past month & I haven't had a chance to make a card but finally, finally.... here's one.  Those little Magnolias really grow on you - I'm getting more fond of them all the time, in fact, I now think they are darned cute!  This one is Kitchen Tilda & I've tried my first card with sewing on it.  I like the look but I didn't allow enough room above or below the image for the stitching so she has thread going through her head & shoes.  Ah well... I will know better for next time.
I coloured the little gal with my Copics (I've missed them terribly in this last month) & the brads are from the overflowing drawer where I keep stuffing all my purchases in.
